"Love the doctor the nurse and the receptionist they are like family."
"My family and I have been patient of Dr Michaelsen since 1984 . He has always been there for my family. The staff there are sweethearts love him gonna hate when he retires"
"I recently saw Dr. Michaelson because I hadn't had a checkup in years. The nurse who saw me was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. While she was speaking to me privately, the receptionist barged into the office to tell us that she couldn't find my insurance in her system. After several phone calls, both to Dr. Michaelson's office and to my insurance provider, the office still refuses to contact my insurance's provider line so they can bill them. Instead, they made me pay the full cost upfront (which I understand), but they have not made any effort to bill my insurance instead and refund me. My insurance (BCBS of IL) specifically told me there was no reason why my insurance information should not work, and that the office needs to call them in order to sort it out. When I relayed this information, the receptionist literally asked me, "why should we do that?". I would think any business that cared at all about its clients would make one phone call to help them, and, not to mention, maybe give them a returning client. On top of this, Dr. Michaelson refused to do basic blood work for me when I asked because I am "too young to have any health issues to test for". I am 25 and have gotten basic blood work done during every check up I've ever had. I saw a doctor the other day to get this blood work done since Dr. Michaelson did not help me. The doctor I saw (Dr. Morker in Sycamore) was so worried about my health that he not only ordered the basic blood work, but also ordered extra tests and did an EKG on the spot. Visiting Dr. Michaelson's office is nothing but a headache and a huge waste of time. I'd avoid him at all costs and look elsewhere for healthcare."
"Always caring and professional."
"The patient tech was so rude and uncaring. I will not go back!"
