Pear Tree Inn Cape Girardeau West

"This Pear Tree is not up to the standards of the other locations at which I've stayed. There is no breakfast. The "breakfast" consists of a few random pound cakes and packets of oat meal. The coffee is good but they need to keep better watch on it. At one point the coffee ran out and there was no one anywhere to tend to it. There are no evening drinks as the other locations have. All they had in the evening was popcorn and lemonade. Not even any fountain drinks. The TV is not great. It was kind of bizarre that the info display for the channels did not match what was on the screen. So I really didn't know for sure what channel I was watching much of the time. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. the location is excellent. It's right across a side street from Target and it shares a parking lot with a steakhouse. Every restaurant chain you could imagine is within half a mile."

"Best place to stay in town. Always very quiet and comfortable here. Breakfast choices are decent on the morning buffet. Place can be kid friendly as well. Nice rooms and clean atmosphere. Everyone that works here is very helpful and nice."

"The room was nice & big. The breakfast could be better. Lots of noisy teenage girls staying on our floor that kept knocking on doors. Will probably stay there again."

"The hotel itself is fine. Room was good. Breakfast was good. I had an issue with check in. I got my key card and went up to my room, only to find someone already in it. We were both shocked. Turns out they mixed up our rooms and accidently gave us both keys to the same room, even though we had different rooms in the computer. It eventually got sorted. Due to this, I won't be staying here again."

"I was here not even 5 days ago and paid 61. Dollars and change for surgery and today I am here for surgery tomorrow and paid 89. Plus change. Why in 5 days is there such a difference plus I am a senior why did i not get a senior discount along with the hospital discount ? I also was displeased with your front desk guy he needs lessons in how to do customer service being a person who has worked with the public I'd never treat people like they was a burden. I called the front desk because to bathroom was dirty from the sink to the toilet lucky I am a diabetic and had alcohol on me to clean the toilet and sink. I have pictures of it all and can post it on your site on Facebook. So Sorry but this visit I am displeased. I also saw my precious post was deleted. Tina Winkle"
