Comfort Inn Muscatine near Hwy 61

"The free buffet is nice in the morning. The rooms were above average, and if you're in the Muscatine area this is probably average price but not far from downtown."

"Check in girl had a non-friendly attitude. If you don’t like your job, find another one. First room had dead bugs all over the bathroom floor. Hallways and room has a musty smell. Rates are reasonable but maybe because of the sub-par facility."

"When we arrived the person who checked us in was hard to understand. Our room was decent but had paint chipping off the ceiling in the bathroom. Check out wasn't until 11 am but the cleaning people trying to get into our room at 9 am . Found someone's pill laying on the floor by one of the beds that didn't belong to anyone in my family."

"This hotel was a real mixed bag for my family. It is super tiny and outdated but located right by McDonald's and Taco John's. One of our biggest negatives was the pool area. The tile around the pool was soaked, dirty, and slippery. It was also cracked right by the ladder which is huge safety hazard for kids. Our next biggest negative was the noise level. The a/c unit in the room was one of the loudest hotel a/c units I've ever heard and it gave off a mildew smell like the coils haven't been cleaned in years. We could also hear everything the people on the floor above us did including just walking around. The positives are the staff and the continental breakfast. All staff we encountered was nice. Breakfast consisted of tamales, waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, muffin, oatmeal, cereal, and more. We were pleasantly surprised with the variety but the coffee was like water. Bed was comfortable, things were relatively clean other than the pool, the shower had no lighting, and it was a good budget hotel stop on our road trip."

"Small nice hotel. The hotel and especially the rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. You can see updates are being made to make your stay even better. The staff were all wonderful! Very kind and very hard working."
