Massage Envy

"Had the worst customer service experience and the most unprofessional Thing happen at this location. I have been a member here for 10 years and will never step foot back in this place. Waited 20 minutes for my massage and ended up not even receiving my service. Been trying to get a hold of the manager and have heard nothing back. Front desk and massage therapist herself are extremely unprofessional. I work at salon/spa myself and what happened here was just ridiculous. Highly do not recommend. **update- Lindsay the manager called me today who was very pleasant. Sounds like this location has been lacking in management and she is on a mission to change that. She was very apologetic and made things right."

"Pretty disappointed with new management. I’m a regular who prefers 90 min massage every two weeks. Can’t get appointments with my preferred therapist (my patronage going back many years). Staff tries to find but there is no follow through, no availability save middle of the day in middle of the week. I no longer get calls telling me the schedule for my therapist has opened so I can book early, and they blame that on the therapist for reducing her schedule (because somehow, reducing her schedule means you can’t pick up the phone and let me know the schedule is open?). I’ve discussed with the new manager and she said she would look into and get back to me with availability for my therapist as well as other suggestions for other therapists… this was 3 weeks ago. I have yet to hear a thing. I am clearly no longer a valued client. Not trying to cause a feud here… but seriously this is the worst experience I’ve had in about a decade w/massage envy. Update 2/6/24: I am no longer part of the massage envy club, nor is the therapist that I frequented for many many years!"

"I had my first ever facial with Zoe a few months ago and it was HEAVEN ON EARTH, to say the least. My 2nd facial was by another lady at another location and I didn't care much for her or the facial. Then I had Zoe again for my 3rd facial tonight and it was equally amazing as the first time. She's sweet as pie and the way she does her facials is soothing and hypnotic. I highly recommend her, and the cold globe things. Those feel amazing."

"Booked massage online on 9/12/23 for the same day. Came in for my appointment time and was advised by person at front desk that they are sorry but the massage therapist is not in and someone forgot to block off schedule. I understand mistakes happen, but I should have been contacted before I actually came in. I gave this place a chance. That was my last time I will ever visit massage envy."

"So I came to this location because the one closer to my house did not have great reviews and let me tell you Palatine did not disappoint. I requested Laura who was highly recommended via the reviews I seen on here and she was amazing! I literally have no complaints. I’ve been to multiple locations in multiple cities and this is by far my best experience. I will be back for you Laura! Thank you."
