"Had a return to make - The product was purchased online as a pick up order this week. When I returned it, the system at the cashier register wouldn’t refund it back onto my bank card which I purchased it on. There is no reason why my bank would reject a refund, that doesn’t even make sense. I even had the receipt on my phone to prove the purchase and the card it was purchased on. The cashier wanted me to call my bank, on a SUNDAY, to see why that is. Weekends are the only time I have to take care of these sorts of things. The only thing they could do was give me store credit, (and once something is refunded on store credit, it cannot be transferred back onto my bank card, or even given to me in cash). Initially I requested a cash refund and they said they couldn’t do that. I don’t come here that often so this was absolutely frustrating. I even spoke to the manager and she said there’s nothing she can do about it. I find this really odd, and low effort of your staff, almost like they were not interested in going the extra mile to figure this out. Or, they aren’t trained well - the first cashier I dealt with seemed completely clueless. What I would have done in your “manager’s” place: taken down my contact information, escalated this issue to her manager, and gotten back to me on it - but not even that - it was just shoulder shrugs and “sorry.” What a JOKE."

"I was struggling to find a good curly hair cut, then realized ulta does them! Kathryn at the Soco ulta beauty salon did an amazing job on my hair. She was so nice and too her time with my hair. The end result was amazing and I will be returning. It’s worth the money!"

"I think this Ulta location (SoCo on Lindbergh) is officially my favorite in the St. Louis area. The staff here are extremely helpful. This surprised me since at my normal Ulta I always feel like I'm annoying the staff when I ask questions - which for baseline, I'm typically the 'I'm good' customer who likes shopping on my own and you don't hear from me until checkout. Both the manager on duty and the associate who helped me select a fragrance were extremely helpful. Honestly it was because of the great service I received that I bought more items, including a fragrance, than I originally planned on buying."

"I went in looking for something that was said to be available in store. I approached some girl with black hair and winged liner to which she acted confused and like she didn’t even know what I was talking about. She then said she couldn’t help me because she was busy or she was doing something. I can’t exactly remember. She was on the side register area. There was no other customers around. She then said you can go ask one of them pointing to the other employees. Which the girl that helped me was very helpful. Today I went in for something I saw that last time I went in. It wasn’t were I remember it being. There was also big shelves with products in front of that isle. So I couldn’t really see. So I went up to the front the same girl with black hair was at the register. I asked her she again was so confused made me repeat myself over and over. The other employee overheard and said oh it might only be online or target has it. Never did they bother searching on the computer or going to see maybe where it could be. Just brushed me off. All I can say is that girl needs more training especially in customer service and product inventory. Or a different job she has more knowledge on. Bless her heart."
