"I took my dog to find out what hard substance was on her hind leg. I seen Dr.Castro and he said it was a tumor of some kind but needed to do a test to see what kind it was. He did a aspirant test to a small sample with a needle and he said he would check it out first to see any results he said after he didn’t find anything that it has to be sent to the pathologist for 331.00 we considered it and it seems like a lot for us but we did it to find out what it was on her leg. After 1 will he called and said the sample didn’t get any results and to do a biopsy for 775.00 and it seems he is just trying to get more money because it keeps going up in price. He wanted to amputate her leg he kept saying this over and over I didn’t agree because she’s 13. Asked will go through so much pain and could not even make it through surgery what kind of life would that be for her. I was not feeling good about this Dr. so I took her to another vet. My vet I have now says since she is 13. He said he could do a biopsy but it’s so hard the tumor is like bone he wouldn’t get much it would just put tramaon her. He advised me to give her the medication for pain and wait 3 weeks to check on her how it’s going so that’s what we are doing. She is resting and happy currently to what she is going through. I would recommend Dr.Castro for any reason"
