That's true customer support, and I drive 30 min away, pass at least two Petco stores closer to my home, and I'll choose Petco Woodlands every time!"

"I love this place and shop exclusively here for all pet related things, grooming, and general vet care. Today a groomer took one look at my dog and said no I’m not doing it. She was turned away for being 2 pounds over the weight class I chose online, she is a puppy and is still growing. I selected the breed in the app, a 10 month old standard poodle so not sure what they were expecting? **Just to find out on my way home that there was a larger weight class grooming appointment available 30 minutes later than my scheduled appointment I got turned away from.** I called and was told by the manager (very kind and professional woman) that she probably turned us away bc she is pregnant but that it wasn’t their correct protocol, which I can understand, but what I don’t understand and is why the groomer couldn’t have passed my dog to someone that was open and available shortly after. It was disappointing because I always leave here happy with the services and experience and now things are going to be weird if I decide to take my dogs here in the future."
