"The new owners are amazing! My father in law surprised my family and I with tickets to fly to Alaska for Christmas. I literally called everyone I could to find somewhere to board my Dolly girl. Everyone was either booked or WAY out of our price range. Ms Robin is an absolute god send. She helped us out and took her in for the week plus some additional days after our flight was canceled. She knew I was nervous about leaving Dolly (I had never boarded any pet before this). She eased my mind and would text every day with a picture or three along with an update about how their day is going. The entire time they had her, they treated her like their own. These guys aren't like other boarding places. They genuinely care about our fur babies and will go above and beyond to make sure they are loved and taken care of while in their care all while ensuring we get updates. I highly recommend Beaus Backyard to anyone who needs to board their dog."

A testament to the care and attention Jim and Melinda provide "their" dogs (along with their dog Beau, they treat them as their own) is the fact that my Australian Shepherd quickly recognizes the route to Beau's Backyard and can't wait to get out of car to greet them! "This was Shellbee's 2nd visit to Beau's and she was reluctant to come home. She likes her home away from home. This isn't a boarding, it's like going to grandmother's house! Jim and Melinda are wonderful people and you can't go wrong leaving your dog there. Heck, I''d like to go stay with them!"

"We were one of the first customers here at Beaus Backyard and the owners asked me if we had a good experience would we mind sharing it to help them out. Well I am reluctant because once this good news gets out it wont be as easy to get my two dogs in to see them! We needed to board them for a week and we waited until the last minute to find a place. A relative of ours lives down the street from them and when they found out we were looking for a place they recommended us calling them to check for availability. They had just opened and welcomed us to bring Dash (Jack Russel Terror!) and Charlie (our timid shepard/healer). We were greeted by Jim, the owner, at the door and he took us in for a tour of the facilities. This is just the place our dogs needed. They only take about 8 dogs at a time and give them each the attention they need. He had just upgraded the cooling system in the kennels so the temperature was a perfect escape from the summer heat. Charlie has separation anxiety and can be destructive if she isn't close to something familiar so we were able to put her next to Dash to keep her company. We left them for the week feeling confident that they were in good hands. Jim and Melinda sent us daily pictures of them playing which eased our minds and we were able to relax knowing they were in good hands. We made arrangements to pick them up a day later than originally planned which wasn't a problem and Jim offered to have them freshly bathed for us. We returned to pick them up and I'm not sure they wanted to come home with us! Dash had taken a liking to Jim and Charlie the same with Melinda. We are very happy with our experience with Beaus Backyard and will definitely be return customers, as a matter of fact we've already made arrangements for them to stay again in September."
