NPower

NPower is an institution located at 85 Northeast Interstate 410 Loop in San Antonio, Texas, United States. They bridge the gap between the tech industry and emerging talent, providing tuition-FREE virtual-led technology training and certifications to young adults aged 18-26, veterans, and their spouses. NPower Texas has been serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 2013 and is expanding to San Antonio and Harris County/Houston this Spring. Their Tech Fundamentals program offers a pathway to a tech-based career, teaching the basics of IT in less than 5 months with real-world application and credentials. They also offer a 30-week part-time Cybersecurity program to NPower alumni, helping them gain advanced certifications and increase their earning potential. Donations to NPower Texas support their mission of moving people from poverty to the middle class through tech skills training and job placement. Funding from Harris County enables all residents to apply, and the program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance.
