"We were in this clinic with my husband. We saw a doctor Mark Lidasan. We were disappointed, as a doctor is non professional. He even not able to speak as a doctor to open up a person who is in depression. He made the meeting realy quickly, we didnt feel as we had some good talk with a good treatment. He didnt listen my husband and me, he is talking by himself and listen by himself only. Its ridiculous. I asked about 3 questions and he ignored them. We haven't get what we expected. Plus they charged $75 for the appointment he did for the next time by himself too, even without any notice for client. I wont recommend this doctor."

"Vita is amazing but the positive feedback stops there. First of all I was seeing Vita who is a nurse practitioner so I was being charged $40 as opposed to $25 if I was saying an actual psychiatrist. Although Vita is competent I don't think it's worth it to pay higher copay for someone who does not have the same credentials as a psychiatrist. Since Vita was so kind and helpful I continued to see her even though the copay was $40 per my insurance because she is understanding and actually listens to her patient's. The problem started in September when my insurance changed over. I was informed by my insurance that Synapse was no longer in network. I contacted sign Synapse to see if they could verify if they were still in network and they stated it was going to take 24 hours to verify. I had an appointment that day and so I asked if the appointment could be postponed until we knew if they were still in network work not. They essentially inform me that I would be charged a $75 cancelation fee even though I was trying to work with them to determine if I would still be in network. After multiple phone calls I was notified that the $75 copay would be charged even while we were awaiting benefits verification. I asked them if they could take the cancelation fee from another form of payment as opposedto the cardon file. I even told them that if the card was declined for any reason then I would come to the office in person to settle it. Instead of giving me that opportunity they swiftly charged my debit card after expressly being as not too. Clearly they only care about the money and not about their patients. It would have been more beneficial to them to wait one day to find out if I was still in network. If so I would have continued seeing Vita with no problem. Also if I was out of network they could have charged the $75 copay and our business would have been settled. My issue is that they charged a card that I asked them not to charge and they refuse to wait one day to charge a cancelation fee without verifying whether or not I was in network. Obviously keeping my business was not important enough to them for them to verify my benefits. These people do not care about their patients and I will not be visiting them again. I would caution anyone reading this review to please seek a real psychiatrist. Most insurance companies seem to have a cheaper co-pay for actual psychiatrist than nurse practitioners anyway as is the case with my insurance. Beware they will charge a cancelation fee no matter the circumstances. Prior to this I had never missed an appointment and always canceled timely if need be. Synapse only cares about money and I will never trust them again."

"Sherry is amazing. I completely trust her with my treatment. She is very professional, knowledgeable, empathetic, and caring. Something important to me is to feel like I am being heard and that’s exactly how I feel with Sherry. The receptionists are great. I’ve never had a problem with anyone. The appointment reminders are helpful. The overall environment is very welcoming. I drive almost an hour to come here and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I definitely recommend Synapse Psychiatry."
