BTW Medical Transportation

"I have just recently started using this company for transportation. They had picked me up the previous day. They were late but I still was able to make it to the doctors appointment on time. when I called back for ride home they sent the wrong type of vehicle that was not equipped for at wheelchair which caused me to have to wait an additional hour to get back home. When I got back home the vehicle's seatbelt restraint malfunctioned and we had to raise the arm of my wheelchair to get the seat belt to release which dislodge my garage door opener which is the only ramped location that I can use to enter the upper part of my house. I called back that day to see about what I would need to do about getting my property returned. I was instructed by logistic care that since I had a pick up for the next day the driver would bring it out then. Today the driver never showed up. He up and quit. I called my insurance to find out what was wrong. By the time they got into looking into rearranging transportation it was too late and I had missed my 1st appointment. I had another appointment at the same location later and missed that appointment as well due to the original driver not showing up. I called back my insurance to see about how I would get my property back and was transferred to BTW medical transportation. The man that answered the phone, I would normally say gentleman but he was far from a gentleman, answered the phone. He had a very thick accent and I had to repeatedly ask him what he had said because I could not understand what he was saying. This must have set him off because he started to try to belittle me by saying if I was that stupid I don't deserve my property back. I was also told " i don't have time for this, I have phones to answer. After dealing with not making it to two very important appointments all I was concerned about was getting my property back the man told me I could drive there and pick it up I told him I'm in a wheelchair that's why use your company I can not drive. Then asked him if it was company policy to not notify your paying customers that you are canceling their pickups causing them to miss their doctors appointments his reply was "that's an insult." I quickly replied I wasn't trying to insult you sir I was referring to your company. He then became more irate and I was not able to understand him and asked to speak with a supervisor he immediately slammed the phone and I was disconnected. I then called back to myinsurance and explain the situation to them and shocked to be informed that this man was either of the owner or the manager of this company. I have never in my entire life been treated this way with such disrespect. As a paying customer I would strongly suggest to anyone who considers using this transportation to look otherwise I personally will never use this transportation company again because of the way that I was treated as a paying customer and their inability to even run such transportation company.I would rather pay out of pocket and take a taxi that can handle a wheelchair then to use this company. I consider myself a compassionate person. I never raised my voice to him. I remained calm throughoutand treated him woth respect as I would any other person. I was not given the same courtesy in return."

"This company is just horrendous. They keep calling me to verify pick up times/confirm locations and I'm NOT a customer. They are actually looking for my grandmother. I have told them on numerous occasions they have the wrong number. I have given them, on numerous occasions, they correct number for my grandmother. Have they gotten it right......absolutely not. One time, my grandmother waited in the heat for over an hour because the guy who was supposed to pick her up didn't know where to go. Why was she waiting.....because they were calling me. When you call the company to complain, you get the voicemail......that you can't use....because it's full."

"Never done business with this company. Not even sure what they do. But their drivers fly in and out of the parking garages in my apartments. Theres constantly people and kids walking through, but they don't slow down. I guess their office is based here since this is where they show up on the map."
