"First Light Credit Union has no customer service. I would not recommend this bank. No one answers the phone ever. I called multiple days in a row, even different branches and the 1 800 number, no answer. The online app is very limited and the chat bot is worthless. You have to go in person and wait in long lines to get a simple question answered. If you can, USAA is the very best choice compared to any other bank out there. The customer service is impeccable."

"If I could give ZERO stars I would! Useless does not even begin to describe this bank. Every time and for every thing they make it more difficult than it has to be. No one knows how to help you and they tell you to make an appointment. My refinance on my home took over 6 months to close because of their mediocre mortgage department. When I tried to open a business account they made me jump through all these hoops saying I needed this and that. In the end I was unable to open the account so I went to Raiz and opened one there without a hassle or any issues. This last time I received a check from my insurance for a claim I made. I needed the check endorsed so that I could pay the contractor since it was the 50% needed for him to start the job. According to them I had to deposit the check into escrow, fill out paperwork, get paperwork from my contractor, get paperwork from my insurance for them to release only half of the check. Then when the work was completed they would release the other half of the check, after I filled out more paperwork, even though the insurance had already disbursed half of the check to get the work started. Leaving me to only have access to half of the funds and have to pay out of my pocket for the other half they were holding on to in order to get any work started. Oh and when I asked the lady how do you fill out this paperwork she said I don’t know that’s with the mortgage department. So I asked her to speak with someone in the mortgage department and she said oh they are all at the Kenworthy Branch. So basically all these little branches all over the place are useless and are basically just there like an ATM machine. No one to really help you or give you the information you need. While I was there another gentleman expressed his frustration as well. Memebers first my a$!, there is no one to help you or talk to about your account or your needs. An ATM provides better help than this bank! This bank is a joke and I do not recommend it to anyone. Bank elsewhere and save yourself the headache!"
"It was disappointing to see that you no longer have tellers to assist your customers. What was the saving grace was the young lady from the back that came out to lend a hand. She was your saving grace. She was outstanding, friendly and professional. She is the only reason that I may return to do business with your tellerless Credit Union. 5 Stars for Her!"
"Absolute joke of a bank. They have eliminated the tellers for an “engagement experience”. No one is working, all the appointments are late. This bank continues its mediocre ways. It’s rather sad. I’ve advised my family to take their funds elsewhere. Navy Federal is a much more professional and efficient bank. The service and wait times are terrible at the Northeast Firstlight FCU location. Great idea for the open concept at a Bank. Let me talk about my banking details in an open environment for the entire lobby and others to hear. This is incredibly dangerous and irresponsible. The last picture is the Navy Federal slogan. We had a wonderful experience at Navy Federal. You don’t have to settle for mediocre service."
