"We have been going to Kids Science Lab for almost 2 years. My son started attending class when he was 3 years old. We started at the South Loop location in Chicago and are now going to the Northbrook location. I love the consistency of the facilities and how great they are following the same vision. The instructors are amazing and their positive energy is contagious. My son can’t wait for his class on Tuesdays and always comes out with a great smile. He is always overexcited to share his science work. He loves bringing his project home and taking to school for his show and tell day. We are very impressed by the impact KSL has made on Thomas’ learning skills."

"I was extremely excited when a new Kids Science Lab location opened in Northbrook. My oldest son took classes at the Lincoln Park location when it first opened. We were so pleased with the classes in the city. We continued taking classes while we lived there, but when we moved to the suburbs I was hard-pressed to find another organization that offered such engaging and developmentally appropriate classes for children. I was beyond excited when the location opened up in the north suburbs recently. KSL classes, teachers and curriculum exemplify high quality, engaging instruction. I now have 3 children and I took my two youngest for a trail today to their new location in Northbrook (between Whole Foods and REI). Both boys loved the classes. My 2 year old and I did a science lesson on symmetry with lots of hands on activities including tracing my little guy's body on a wall painted with idea paint and drawing all his body parts to depict symmetry. This class also included 2 wonderful art projects and observations of many everyday life symmetrical objects. My two-year-old absolutely loved it. He loved the instructor, the interaction, the opening and closing song, and being able to take a "big boy class." My 4 year old learned about electricity and left with a model of a house that he built with wires connected to a circuit with a working light switch (SO COOL!). He carried his little project around with him for the entire day and slept with it next to his bed tonight. He learned so much and was so proud of the tangible project he built. The staff and the facilities at the Northbrook KSL are impressive. Every staff member is engaging and welcoming with all the adults and children who come into the building. The space is beautifully designed, environmentally friendly, enhanced by a play area in the front for children with Magnatiles, Legos and wonderful hands on, developmentally appropriate toys for kids to experiment with before and after class. KSL has class and camp offerings for many age groups. I rarely post things like this, but this place is truly special and unique. I am so grateful that KSL has opened a location in Northbrook and that my children are fortunate enough to be able to benefit from the kids science lab experience."

"Kids Science Lab in Northbrook has brought my son, Jack age 8, so much joy each Saturday. He looks forward to the hands- on, creative and student based classes. As an educator myself, I love the teacher's positive energy and flexibility! Jack loves learning new topics with enriched vocabulary and of course, the take home projects each week!"
