About the Business
The Leisure Center located at 3323 Walters Avenue in Northbrook, Illinois offers a variety of recreational activities for all ages. The center is part of the Northbrook Park District, which is currently accepting nominations for its Hall of Fame honoring outstanding athletes and volunteers. Since 1978, over 60 individuals have been inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame and Volunteer Hall of Fame. Nomination forms are available until April 12, 2024.
One young athlete, Ben Fingerman, had the opportunity to play baseball at Wrigley Field through the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run program hosted by the Northbrook Park District. His mother, Jen Fingerman, described it as a special and unforgettable experience that he will cherish for a lifetime. The Leisure Center provides a platform for children to showcase their skills, have fun with friends, and create lasting memories.

"Great facility for Park District. Formally an old grade school, this building has lots of rooms, gym and theatre for residents to use. Many senior programs and a wonderful playground and park out back. Best of all is the Sunshine Preschool. Both of our children went through their program. Excellent teachers and facilities for the kids to learn. Highly recommend the preschool!!"
