Reviews
"Between the new office, great staff, and comfortable testing environment, I’m not sure why the reviews are so low! I wish I had more tests to take!"
"I was skeptical coming here based on other reviews. But it was nothing like the other reviewers made it seem to be. The staff was nice and professional. They explain everything to you. So just follow the rules and you’ll be fine. Just listen to what they’re telling you. They have set rules because they are required to report certain incidents. They are doing their job. The rooms are small, but it didn’t bother me. I had a hoodie on and was fine. I’m glad I did because without it, I’m sure I would have been cold. I’m always cold though. I have my thermostat at home set to 75. So if you like it cold, you’ll be fine. If you’re like me, take a hoodie. Overall, I had a great experience here. The staff was nice and professional."
"If I could give this business ZERO stars I would! The staff is rude and unpleasant. Especially the woman who works the front desk. I'm not sure how she still has a job. This was my second visit, my first visit was unpleasant as well, and I will NEVER come here ever again. The camera wasn't functioning properly and saying I was in an invalid pose despite me just sitting still on the stool and staring at the camera. Even worse, while we were having this issue, she wasn't really focused on fixing the issue. She kept checking other people in, taking temperatures, handing out clip boards. She curtly asked me to sit still and look at the camera and I told her that I was and I didn't understand what she needed me to do. She then told me I was being disruptive and kicked me out. When I refused to leave because I did nothing wrong, they told me I was trespassing and threatened to call the police! It blows mind that the staff treats everyone like criminals which is ironic since everyone is there to further their career and better their lives. There is no please and thank you. Just demands and curt instructions. We are paying customers! You would think they would have staff that recognizes this and treats people with empathy and care. Alas they don't. Clearly I'm not the only one who has issue with this location and the staff given the low google rating. Also, the woman at the front desk was turning people away who didn't have masks and telling them she had no masks to provide when there is a sign on her desk that clearly states if you don't have a mask one will be provided."
"I would give negative stars if I could. This place needs to go out of business. First thing is first, the covid “precautions” this place takes at this point are insane. Had I know they required masks I would have chose a different testing center. They don't let you know until the day of your test. What’s more, 12hrs before your test they send an email outlining their cancellation, and rescheduling policies. The kicker, they require you to make any changes 24hrs in advance. Otherwise you have to pay again. The office is loud when others are checking in. You are provided “noise canceling” headphones. The batteries were dead in my pair. Once I was settled in, I realized I left my chart plotter in the car. I hadn’t started the test yet, but I was told that I couldn’t go get it. I asked the attendant if she would get it for me. She said she wouldn’t. As navigation is an integral part of my test, and I hadn’t even started it yet, I believe the FAA would have probably insisted I get it if they had been there. I plan on telling every other student I’m in school with not to test here."
"I had a great experience taking the FAA Private Pilot written exam. After having to cancel flying due to weather, I called them to see if they offered walk-ins. They said I'd need to book it with PSI, but they could open up a slot for me. They did, and I was able to get it knocked out - and this late on a Friday. They went out of the way to make it happen, and I was very relieved to get it done. Made my weekend. Thanks, Lynn!"
