"OMG where to begin: A few months ago around the beginning of April 2017, I began searching in earnest for a recording facility to record my first official music video. I am known throughout the entire world for my brass teaching and playing and currently am ranked #1 on YouTube for my niche of brass playing and teaching. Due to my mom having some health issues, I decided to temporarily move to El Paso to help her out. When I first arrived, I began feeling out the recording scene and stumbled up A & R Recording Studios and school. From the get go things seemed fishy. I could never get the owner/manager's name and i just got a nickname: 'VAVVY" We had set up a tentative time then firmed it up, but then "vavvy" got soft and appeared he might flake on me. I then asked him If i could come by and check out the facility maybe even audit or observe a session just to make sure it was a good fit for me. VAVVY really began acting strange and then got weird and defensive and said and this is a quote in my text: "WHERE DO YOU PLAY SO MY STUDENTS CAN GO HERE YOU PLAY"? I told Vavvy that he already knew I was in town, brand new, and here temporarily because of my mom...how in the hell would I have a block of gigs lined up when i had no idea where anything was much less knowing any musicians. He said that if i wanted to check them out he wanted to check me out first!!! Are you kidding me? This person, whoever he really is, is a complete NOBODY in the world of music and recording...he is just this tiny little fish in tiny el paso and he is mentally off the charts. Note to other audio engineers: WHEN A POTENTIAL CLIENT WANTS TO COME CHECK OUT YOUR FACILITY, YOU, YES YOU SET UP A TOUR OR AN INFORMAL APPOINTMENT. What the hell? As the principle in the situation, I don't "audition" for some damn idiot owner of a mom and pop shop recording school in el paso....this guy is off his rocker. As a master teacher and professional artist and player known around the world, I highly recommend EVERYONE including students AVOID this nut job!!! You will be thanking me big time!!!! p.s. they can't even afford to keep a website in operation and functional....BIG RED FLAG!!! arschoolofaudioandrecording dit com"
