"I support student barbers; however, I had a very bad experience at this academy. I asked for a basic high straight razor fade with finger length on top. I was in the chair for over two hours, and then the student barber started digging his clippers in my head, over and over in the same spot. I started to get a headache, so I politely asked for the instructor. To my surprise, the instructor told the student to dust me off and then charged me $20 for an unfinished haircut that is advertised at $8. My advice is dont waste your time or money at this place."
"I don’t let too many people cut my hair if I’m being honest. But I trusted this shop as well as Mr.Izzy, and he didn’t fail me. There’s a difference between someone who just does their job and someone who does something because they love it and want to get better to satisfy their clients/customers/family, it’s his passion for sure, thanks Southwest Barber Institute.
