"SCAM***. When I enrolled in AI course and ready to pay, bank declined because they noticed the request comes from Out of country. Luckily bank declined and my money is saved. Hope UT Austin takes some action to protect their identity."
"SCAM! Can’t believe UT has a “partnership” with this. The “advisors” are in India. The “instructors” are in India. Signed up for a course. Paid and began the pre-course work for Full Stack. The first instructor “taught” as if he were making his first home tutorial video for YouTube. Nearly every sentence began with “so basically.” It was so hard to follow simply because the instructor didn’t seem to be an actual professional who could teach adults. When a refund was requested, suddenly the callbacks and replies to email stopped. Finally heard back that my refund was refused. I only had faith in this program because UT allows their name on it. Even when I called UT directly, they were unfamiliar with this course until looking in their system and confirming it’s a partnership with an Indian company called Greater Learning. I have to wonder where all these good (misleading!) reviews are really coming from."
"I sold my business to a graduate of the MBA program from McCombs School of Business. Early on after the sale I could tell this particular human being had no idea what they were doing. Financial awareness was almost nonexistent (ridiculous amount of overhead spend right of the bat), leadership aptitude was unbelievably low (considering they came from a special forces division in the US military), work ethic and drive wouldn't have been enough to hold a job as a store manager for an IGA (worked maybe 6 hrs/day and didn't show up for 5 days after closing on the business) In 4 short months they have defaulted on their loan (which I seller financed) for over $550k and destroyed a wonderful business that paid me quite well. Luckily, I received a hefty down payment that covered my cost basis in the business, so anything additional was gravy for me. I believe if this person can get accepted and graduate from McCombs School of Business then I deserve a full ride scholarship. I would consider such an offer as an acceptable apology."
"I signed up for their online postgrad in data science expecting a UTA education. When the classes started, the guys lecturing weren't just NOT UT Austin faculty, they weren't even in the US! Basically, these are people from India using the UTA brand to sell overpriced Coursera-level fastfood education. I am so disappointed that UA allowed this to happen."
