"My child has received the right attention and respect for the first time at The Nest, a home for caring and support. To make a long story short, my child is a special needs child and Jenn is my guide to The Nest. Shovanda and her team are offering support in every way, like I had nothing else to do until that. The Nest team had high expectations for a classroom that caters to special needs and designed it accordingly. I have a sense of being heard and being addressed our needs, as well as being a great place to learn. My prayer is that God will continue to bless The Nest team, giving them the strength to continually improve and expand their branches. My definition of this team is 'Incredible'."
"It’s aggravating not being listened to, but it’s even more aggravating when it’s intentional. My son attended this school briefly and was kicked out due to the laziness and unwillingness the administration showed in “working” with him. Meetings were had about things that were going to happen in regards to his schooling. Nothing talked about was ever implemented. Instead We received little to no communication on his progress despite frequent checkups with staff, no warnings about his enrollment status, and an email that took him out of the school without any prior documentation or warning. Despite all this our daughter stayed in because she was doing well, and when we attempted to let them know we were having similar communication issues they unenrolled her in a similarly expeditious manner. They do not want to be held accountable for the blatant unfair treatment they will give to special needs students, nor for their inability to communicate when it matters most instead of waiting when is the most convenient for them. I wish I could leave negative stars"
"The Nest is more than just a stellar Montessori school. The faculty and staff truly care about each student and his or her family, creating a family atmosphere that encourages open communication. The care for the children extends outside of the classroom, with fun, well-planned events like the Fall Festival, which further creates a sense of a true community. The incorporation of live animals, such as rabbits and guinea pigs, into many of the classrooms is unique and is yet another reason our child is excited to attend each day. Highly recommend The Nest!"
"When you go to pick your kid up from school and they say, “can I stay a little longer.” As two working parent household we are comforted by the fact that our kiddo actually likes being at school. He’s supported emotionally when it’s not a good day, he’s allowed to grow at his own pace and encouraged to seek out what interests him. We love our experience at The Nest at Anderson Mill."
"Finding a great school that your child will enjoy, learn, and flourish at is one of the most important decisions you'll make as a parent. At The Nest we feel like we made the best choice for our 3yo daughter. The entire staff, from the front office to her teacher, took her in with open arms and made her feel right at home from day one. The kids are immersed in a wealth and variety of curriculum and activities that keep them looking forward to spending time with their teacher and friends. We've been to other places where mornings were tough to get her to go to school. The facility is brand new, and is designed where you just feel calm and relaxed when you walk in. With three kids we've experienced many schools, and the breakfast, snacks, and lunch are far and away the most wholesome and healthy we've seen. Gone are the days of having to worry about packing lunches and snacks that our daughter likes. I wish The Nest was around with our other two kids. If you're looking for a place where your child will be happy from the time they walk in from the parking lot to being picked up, and having that sense of comfort that they are in the best hands when you're at work, this is the place."
