"Went to get a haircut in July for my birthday. The lady chopped all of my hair (which I’ve grown for almost 5years) entirely too short. I was already nervous about cutting my hair she kept asking me about my personal life which I didn’t feel comfortable with talking about but she was getting irritated because I wouldn’t talk about my life. And now it’s been 5minths and I still remember the horrible experience every time I look in the mirror and my hair still hasn’t grown to my shoulders yet which is where I asked her to cut my hair in the first place. Makes me feel I made the bad decision by even going to great clips in the first place. I don’t leave reviews much but maybe she should see this. She claimed to work there for years. And was like 2 or 3 stations from the front on the right."

"Awful experience! As soon as I sat down, I did not get a very "nice" vibe from the woman who was about to cut my hair. But at the time it was just a vibe. Now I am more than fine with no conversation, in the past I've had my ear talked off! I never got her name, but she was very stand-off-ish, not at all friendly, & just rude. Afterwards, my fiance, who was waiting for me in the waiting area, even asked me if she was okay because he got a similar vibe from her. But the biggest problem was my hair cut...I told her I wanted about 4-5 inches off as it had been way too long since my last cut, which she did, & I asked for choppy layers. I also got a simple side swept bang. This is the same cut I've gotten for years so i was very confused with how she proceeded to do the "layers." Idk if she didn't know what choppy layers were but I have never, ever seen somebody attempt to do it the way she did. I tried to make it more clear what I wanted, but she seemed to just double down on how she thought it should be done & her attempt at explaining it didn't help. Nobody has ever done anything like this to my hair to put choppy layers in. I ended up having to tell her to stop & not to do anything else & I paid & left. She made no attempt to apologize for any misunderstandings or say anything at all for that matter."
