"I have had the the same stylist for 34 years. She was unable to provide services for me at the time I needed a cut/color/style...an internet search brought me to Merlyn at Salon Lofts in Clayton today. Needless to say I was a bit apprehensive about using a new stylist after so many years, however Merlyn did a fabulous job! I couldn't be happier!"

"Do not go to Salon Lofts and especially not Corrine Thompson. Upon arriving, I told her what I wanted, which included a blow-dry. She then informed me that they are not doing blow-dries because apparently that spreads coronavirus. I did not see this anywhere as I was booking my appointment. In fact, I clearly booked a "cut and style." I informed her of this and she insisted it was the Salon Lofts' policy. I then asked her to wash my hair first before cutting it, but she proceeded to argue with me that she never does it that way. She washed my hair for all of two minutes and was very hostile towards me for the rest of my appointment. My entire appointment lasted fifteen minutes. She then charged me $60, which was the price listed for a cut AND STYLE. It was a complete rip-off. I could have received better service for half the price elsewhere."

"Mindy Hicks is fabulous - excellent stylist and colorist and makes great use of her loft space. Prices are reasonable especially for how great your hair is going to look. There is a parking lot behind the building which is super convenient and a small waiting area when you first walk in if your stylist isnt quite ready for you yet."
