Memorial Hall

"Today, I visited Memorial Hall to see the plans for a new St. Charles Park. It seemed nice to me. The large room had a wooden floor. Two of the walls had plenty of windows. On the way to the room I saw a smaller room that looked like it was used for presentations or movies. I think, I read that the large room can hold 250 people for wedding receptions / rentals. There were not 250 people in there today. Today, there were a few tables set up and a lot of easels with posters showing plans of the future park. We went around the room visiting the different displays. The room did well for the event I attended and allowed for social distancing."

"This is a great place to host small gatherings or even large parties, and for the price is totally worth it. I have hosted many events at this location and reccomend it to anyone. There is also a kitchen if you are providing food for your guests, you can rent for an additional charge. :) love this venue."

"A one-stop wedding venue. Perfect place to hold your wedding, cocktails & reception. Very helpful & considerate bartenders. One small snafu- Not even worth going into because it was corrected quickly. Highly recommend!"

"St Charles parks kick booty! My child would have been locked inside our home all day and night, for safety sake. But see were involved with everything at the parks! My kid has worked for concessions for three years now. It's wonderful, it's a big o family. A GOOD one. And my child went off to university yesterday, but, when she comes home she'll still have her parks job! Love u St. Charles. I support you 100% ! Thanks"

"The hall hosts events throughout the year. It's been around and is a historical relic to the community. It's surrounded by beautiful Blanchette Park. There is a memorial garden next to the hall that is a favorite spot for both wedding pictures and outdoor wedding receptions."
