"My fiancé and I had our lessons here for our first dance for our wedding. At the start, they were very intent on selling us lots of lessons and specific/multiple styles of dance, even though we came in with very specific requests for dance style and content that had little to do with what they suggested. By the second lesson we made sure to explain again what we wanted and did end up getting to work on just swing dance. Unfortunately while our instructor was nice, she barely actually taught us. We spent all four (very expensive) lessons watching the choreography over and over on her phone and then essentially teaching it to ourselves. We were rarely corrected by her if we made a mistake or forgot something. I have a dance background so that helped. we both feel like we would have been lost if that wasn’t the case. There were a few times other instructors popped in to give a piece of advice and we learned more from those few moments than the entire rest of our lessons. We also didn’t actually get to practice or learn our dance to our selected music until our last lesson which is kind of difficult to do. The place is cool and it’s a great concept but our particular instructor did not really teach at all, and what we did we could have done at home with YouTube and saved $500. We had a lot of fun making date nights out of it but it was very expensive for next to no actual teaching. We also felt very weird about the fact that they make you initial a little box immediately after your lesson promising you had a good lesson without really making any room for communicating if maybe you didn’t. It felt high pressure. Not sure we would recommend this place to others but we also are fairly certain that our negative experience had more to do with our specific instructor and is not a reflection of their services as a whole."

"This venue, these teachers and the staff are absolutely amazing in so many ways. I attended one of their public dance parties at the end of March fell in love with the environment and the energy, and immediately signed up to do private lessons. It’s always been a dream of mine to be a ballroom dancer. And Weiss is short so you need to execute on what it is you’d like to accomplish. They took the end they taught me a Meeting Dance Pizazz. I have a fantastic teacher and Ross I cannot say enough good stuff about this place they will support you and encourage you inspire you to dream big if this is on your list, I highly suggest you check it out. Even if you don’t want to be a competitive ballroom dancer, it will bring so much goodness to your life."
