"5 stars plus a heart for the tortilla soup! I lived in Mexico for three years and discovered my favorite tortilla soup there 20 years ago. Chevys topped it today. The waiter informs us that is it made fresh every day. It has plenty of chicken and avocado chunks, just the right crunch on the tortilla strips and perfect flavoring with just the right amount of heat on the broth. I added a cup to my meal and wished I had the ordered the bowl!"

"Haven't been to Chevys for decades. I won't be back to a business stuck in time. Food was decent for the 80s, now it's beyond tired and service was one of the worst. Street tacos were sloppy,falling apart, basic flavor. Chips and salsa: salsa bland no heat at all. Chips were old, unsalted, undercooked. Smothered Burritos was bland. Rice old, guacamole brown, beans old, but the corn cake was so old it refused to be chewed. Spoke with the manager Bob. Explained the situation. Didn't introduce himself or apologize. Curious if at least good management practices will ensue. Disgusting. Avoid."
