"This was an absolute horrible experience. I don’t know if it’s just the tech that I had but I came in for a no-chip pedicure with gel polish on my toes already. Usually when there’s gel polish on, the polish is drilled down a little bit and then soaked off. The tech drilled all of the nail polish off and when I said that the drill was hurting/burning, she looked and me and then continued to keep going. Furthermore, any additional spots that she couldn’t get with the drill, she filed off with a nail file. I had to walk out without my toes finished because I was concerned that my nails were going to be in worse shape when I was done. Now I have to find somewhere else to get my nails done with damaged nail beds."
"I've been a customer for 2 years. Went on a Saturday, with an appt at 11:45. I was taken at 12:15 and handed around to 3 different techs. The final result was with Andy who did a great job. He apologized for the long delay. The owner who usually does my nails couldn't even make eye contact with me while I sat and waited. Finally walked out at 1:40. When paying I informed them I would not be returning. No attempt at making it right, no offer for a discount. Lost my service and recommendation."
"I called the day before and made an appointment for myself and my daughter. I explained that we had another appointment 3 hours after the time of our appointment. My tech was 45 mins late did nothing I asked him. We ended up having a total of 4 techs and everyone wanted a tip. My nails started chipping that night. My wedding was in 2 days and I had to get my nails done over and pay out of pocket. My daughter’s nails were worse off than mine. I will never come back here."
"I have been coming here for about a year. I would definitely recommend Tony, Van, or Cat. I have always been very satisfied with my pedicures and manicures. They always ask how my school is going and how my mom and friends that I have brought there are. I am always offered something to drink free of charge. I would say MAKE SURE you know the price of EVERYTHING before you get any of the services and then AGAIN clarify with them. I would also recommend doing the math yourself I have been over charged $5 to $10 pre tip (when paying for two or more people, for example two no chip full sets and two no chip pedicures is $95 each $190 total, I was charged $200.) I recently called to check prices and there was a misunderstanding in what I was told, again when I was at the shop and there was another miscommunication with the price. I went to pay and it was $40 more than what I was told and had expected. I questioned the price and was told that's what it was, needless to say I was upset. (I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THIS HAS HAPPENED TO IF YOU LOOK THROUGH THE REVIEWS.) I went back the next day to make the complaint prior to writing this review. They apologized for the miscommunication and gave me a gift certificate for $15 as a refund. So in short know the price before hand. This is what I have been recently told and charged because their menu can be a little confusing: a NO CHIP FULL SET is $45, a REGULAR FULL SET is $30, just a NO CHIP MANICURE is $35, a REGULAR MANICURE is $15, a REGULAR PEDICURE is $30 and a NO CHIP PEDICURE is $50. These prices are basically the same as those that they have on their menu which I included a picture of below. I really hope this helps, I still like this shop because they do really good work compared to a few other places I have been. They are always able to squeeze me in and over all are very kind. They also care about the health of your nails, and will make recommendations as to what you should do, dip, no chip, or acrylic. Though I have been cut twice and my services were discounted by $10 each time. This is my first real complaint with this shop and was very disappointed. I do appreciate the gift certificate they gave me and that they were willing to speak with me."
"My best friend and I went here for a basic French manicure with the acrylic nail enhancements. It was on a Saturday evening and the two employees took us about 15 minutes after they had already closed. Initially it was a good experience. The woman that was doing my nails was in no rush. The gentleman that helped my friend however took my friend before me and finished bout 15 minutes before I got done when I was taken first. A piece of glitter got stuck in the acrylic for my pinky nail and the tech decided to take it out but completely ruined the acrylic. Instead of removing all the acrylic and reapplying she simply added more acrylic. No biggie. Now on Monday, two of my nails are lifting and by today one has completely lifted. I went and got it replaced at a different salon and I see that the acrylic used originally is starting to turn into a yellowish pink rather than the clear it originally was. It was a decent nail job but I don't believe that I will be going back."
