"For years I had my nails done by the owner of the salon. Each time she would tell me my nails were thin. Each time she also used the rotating electric tool and would actually hit the surface of my skin. Being new to dips, I thought this was normal. Over the holidays, the owner scheduled an appt during my appt and wouldn’t admit to it. I had to find another salon despite being a regular who tipped very well. I started going to Royal Nails in Geneva and had my nails done by the owner only to find out my nails are actually extremely strong. I have not had a single issue since I changed salons. My nails last easily 3 weeks without any chipping. Not once has my technician burned through my nails to my skin, which was a common occurrence at Tips to Toes with the owner. The other technicians seem fine - although arguing and rudeness are normal there. There are so many other amazing options. Don’t let your nails get ruined or be treated rudely by the owner of Tips to Toes - try a new place!"

"I am usually not one to rate this place as a negative experience because they always do a great job! I recommend people all the time, but today really blew my mind, and not in a good way. My pedicure was great, but I left so disappointed with my acrylic nails. They look really bumpy and horribly square. They look very chunky and not well done at all."
