"Hello, my name is David Doherty and I graduated in 2019 class Salutatorian. Immanuel Christian School provides great opportunities in the classroom, extracurricular activates, and ministry. The classes are rigorous, and the teachers have high expectations, but this is only to give you the proper tools to help you succeed in the future. Immanuel is a school that does provide 100% college readiness and 100% college acceptance. There are a few teachers that have guided me and pushed me to succeed to be the best student possible, and a few mentions I have are Dan Synder, Michelle Campos, Brandy Snyder, and Lauren Martinez. In our faculty we have an amazing leader as our principal, and it will be an honor to introduce you to Linda Johnson. There are many extracurricular activity opportunities for all students; we have athletics, Student Leadership, Student Council, National Honor Society, band/worship band, and so much more! During my time at Immanuel I participated in Student Leadership, National Honor Society, and athletics. Each of these activities have pushed me to be a leader, a better person, humbled me, matured me, improve my relationship with Christ, and taught me to be a man of good character and have good morals. I am beyond thankful and blessed to have had to opportunity to be a part of this school. Over the years starting in elementary school moving into middle school and finishing in high school I have had great mentors and each year I have felt so successful and so proud of accomplishing another year. Being a Warrior means so much, it is not just a name of a mascot but there is a bigger meaning behind it all. “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
