"I have been tempted to write a review on several occasions this year, but decided to wait until the IOWA test scores were released so that I could give a complete review. Now I can tell you that this school is truly amazing! It has exceeded my expectations, but most importantly my son is happy to come to school everyday. The children are in a challenging academic environment where they learn in fun and creative ways, like no other I have ever seen. The faculty and staff are educators at heart. The only regret I have is not enrolling my son at EPCDS sooner."

"What an amazing school! After moving back to El Paso and visiting several private schools we decided to enroll our children at EPCDS. This has without a doubt been a blessing to our family. My children are not only thriving academically but socially and emotionally. Testing well beyond their grade levels and surprising me everyday with their achievements. "Excellent school and teachers. When we moved to El Paso, we visited several (>5) schools in the area. In this school, the children stood out as very communicative, academically advanced and very bright, and teachers stood out as committed to excellence in working with children and dedicated to teaching as a profession. We easily decided that this was the school where we are most likely to see our 4-year old son thrive. My son is in the preschool class, and while bilingual, he started attending the school with poor knowledge of English. Within a few months of attending the school, he was communicating in English very well. I think the reason is the emphasis put on communication and interaction in the classroom, and with other children across grades and all the school’s teachers. Otherwise, I also think that teachers and their teaching style helped my son to adjust well academically. He is enjoying the math, and tries to "apply" it in everyday life. For example, he counts dimes to check what he can buy with them, he counts to “one hundred” when hearing some large numbers discussed, as he wants to estimate “is that little or a lot.” He is very pleased that he is learning more languages (Spanish and Mandarin), and enjoys extending the Spanish words he learns into simple sentences at home (we try this together). As he previously mostly enjoyed playing and engineering type of activities, I have been pleasantly surprised at his academic progress at EPCDS and how much he enjoys the school and academic activities."

Our two sons have the best teachers that are truly role models. I would encourage all families looking at possible school options in El Paso to consider this school."
