"The house itself is great, no issues so far. Except this water situation on the side of the front of the house. I don’t even know what to call it. We’ve had them inspect the sprinklers and was told that was not causing this. We had the water company inspect and said we have no water leaks. Does anyone else have this issue? We’re thinking it’s a natural water leak…but so far no answer or solution just a random water leak."
"Although I have not lived here long. So far we love our home and have a had a great experience. The real gem is Mr. David McClain our construction manager , he was GREAT! Anything regarding the home details/needing to be worked on that we brought to his attention he fixed. After closing he continued to check in and will response if I have a question. He really made you feel the care in his work."
"I have had an amazing first year as a new homeowner. Centex made everything very clear and was always so helpful. The minor issues I did have, Centex was right on it. I do wish the workers spoke English but other than that the experience and quality of work was great!"
"This builder uses the cheapest material when building these homes. Throughout my 3 years of living in my house, I have experienced several leaks. The HVAC tubing in the attic was installed poorly, leading to leaky A/C and high energy bills. I've had to replace the interior parts of every toilet just a year and 11 months into my purchase. Every single faucet in my home has leaked at some point during my three years here. But the biggest one of all was a leak to the water heater unit. It started leaking just around the 3 year mark. I was told by Centex that it was out of their warranty and that I had to replace it myself. I've been quoted around $1,800 to replace the unit because Centex uses these cheap vendors. On top of that, the water heater is too small for the amount of square foot. It quickly runs out of hot water during breezy and colder days. I'm certain that I will experience another leak pretty soon. I haven't even touched on the electrical which has been a headache in its own. I truly regret this purchase and advise anyone to look for other, more reputable builders."
"Although I have not lived here long. So far we love our home and have a had a great experience. The real gem is Richie our construction manager , he was GREAT! Anything regarding the home details/needing to be worked on that we brought to his attention within an hour it was fixed. After closing he continued to check in and will response if I have a question. He really made you feel the care in his work. Arnold in the sales department was also great! He was kind, and helped a lot though out the process."
