"I had 2 cars on Allstate for several years. I finally broke down and bought a new car and added it to the policy for about 3 weeks. The rate was ridiculous for the new car, more than doubling the cost monthly so I shopped insurance and left Allstate/. I sent them a cancellation notice before the old policy expired and stated I was not renewing the policy. At the 1st of the next month they took ACH payment from my account for not only the claimed 3 weeks of coverage but also for the renewal of a contract I did not sign. Then they did not call me back at the time or date they claimed they would call and waited another day. Then the manager ARGUED with me about taking the money was OK...that they had the right to do into my back account and take the payment. Keep in mind that they were given notice before the policy expired and that I did not sign the renewal paperwork. Avoid this insurance agent."
