"I've been going to Bangkok Gardens for roughly 18 years now. First time I went was in their much smaller original location. Never been disappointed. Always incredible food. Had an amazing experience during True/False this year. We were banging on the door right at open and Dani took care of us. Had recommendations, made 4 Vietnamese coffees quickly, and knew when we needed help. Dani took extra precautions with my friend who has a cashew allergy. Drunken noodles and crab Rangoon were great. Can't wait for the next time I'm in Columbia"
"First time i ate here was in 2016 & the drunken noodles were amazing , i come back in 2023 and sadly the drunken noodles did not seem the same at all, it was still edible but not as good as before. The hostess was super nice short brown haired girl brought us water as we waited for a table 10/10 for her . However our blonde waitress lacked every human emotion it seemed like , didnt want you to stand at the table long enough to let any of us talk or ask and walked away when my friend tried to speak. Not someone who should be in the hospitality industry thats for sure. Wish the experience was a little better!"
"This is my all time favorite restaurant in the world. I’ve eaten here for lunch and dinner many times. Everything on the menu is good, but the stir fries are outstanding. Don’t be turned-off by terms on the menu like “oyster sauce” or “fish sauce”. These flavors are like more delicious soy sauces and they do not at all taste like fish or oysters. The spring rolls are amazing with the sweet and sour dipping sauce. Be careful with the spice level as the food can become very spicy. I find that a 2 or 3 can be pleasantly spicy without hiding the complexity of the other amazing flavors."
"This was one of my favorite places when I'd come back to Como. It's definitely not the same quality or I hit a bad night. My main dish was charred ruining any bit of flavor. I wouldn't have let this out the door of my establishment. The steamed dumplings were on point and that ended up being my $30 dinner."
"On the expensive side, and portions per dish are very inconsistent. Village rolls were nice and large, but dripping with insane amounts of oil and we couldn't tell if they had given us vegetable rolls or chicken. It was just a ton of very bland cabbage. Demon chicken was a good level of heat for the authentic thai level, and had a nice smoky char on the veggies, but not much other seasoning to round it out. Serving was surprisingly small for an $11 dish, and while they were generous with the large charred veggies there were 5 pieces of tough chicken total. Wife got drunken noodles with chicken which was much better seasoned, if maybe a little too sweet. Portions were larger for this one, but again it was mostly vegetables, with a few pieces of rubbery chicken. Not bad all together, but not worth returning for the price for the servings."
