"AVOID THIS COMPANY. One of the sneakiest companies I've dealt with. They try to hide that you're automatically opting into a subscription service when you finalize your first purchase. It doesn't even say so in the first confirmation email you get. It's not until the bottom half of the second email that a subscription service is mentioned. To my surprise I was charged a much higher amount for the second order of meals – even before I had received the first order. When I emailed them I was told that they couldn't cancel my second order and instead I was given a credit code. However, when I tried to fulfill the second order they tried to charge me $19.95 for shipping again despite me having already paid for shipping.... As for the meals – small and not particularly tasteful. Personally I wouldn't order again even if they gave me a 50% discount."

"LOVE this company! I have tried a number of "healthy" meal prep companies but none had what I was looking for until I found Metabolic Meals. The customer service has been superb. Quick to answer questions and fix a couple of issues on my account. I have been so impressed with their meal quality and that they are 100% gluten free (a huge issue for so many) that I've referred a number of patients their way. Eating healthy and having the time to prepare meals can be overwhelming, They have made this so much easier fo rmyself and I couldn't be happier to have a resource for our patients. Highly recomend giving them a try."

"Seen the ads on Facebook. Wanted to try the meals. The day they arrived I cancelled the service because the meals weren't half as good as Factor. They refused to cancel my next shipment and still charged me for it. Poor business model. Their phone number doesn't work and their email customer service with is about as good as talking to a robot. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company like the plague. Factor and hello fresh are the best options I have discovered. Update: After complaining and leaving a bad review, it seems I may get a refund. I will provide update when that happens. It took a lot of e-mails to get any type of useful solution. With that being said, It does appear they are trying now, hope they can get their processes fixed quicker in the future so this doesn't happen anymore.."

"Just NOT good. Only thing nice I can say is that the pictures of the food are well done, but that is IT. Once it actually arrives, the food doesnt look appealing, is much smaller portions than other meal plans, and the taste is what you would expect from cheap diet food. Ended up throwing out half of the last order(had not intention of re-ordering, but they hit me for $150 and insisted that my cancellation was not enough of a cancellation), so dont use a card you keep active if you choose not to listen to this review. They shipped me their selections and they arrived today(Very long shipping times), and you would think that meals they selected would be their best, but you would be wrong! I tried the chicken pesto pasta and honestly, it was disgusting. I couldnt even finish it and my cat tried to bury it, so Ill probably end up throwing out most of these meals as well. There are much better options, including Cooks Unity and Factor."

"I don’t even know where to start. I was given a coupon code by the company, ordered 25 meals, applied the discount code but was billed the entire amount. Took me three promises from Scott to get my credit. Waited two weeks to get my first order which never arrived. They got my address wrong. Took me three days to track down my order and by that time the food was spoiled. What a waste. I’ve been promised a full refund by Scott but who knows. Never got an apology from Scott but did get a bunch of attitude. I don’t think the problem is with the service I think the problem is with Scott."
