"HEB pharmacy at 999 E Basse Worst pharmacy. They'll TELL you your order is ready, but, if you have more than one prescription, don't believe it. I get the same three prescriptions filled every month. This pharmacy calls and says they've been filled, but has never yet had all 3 of them actually ready to go when I arrive to pick them up. I sit and wait 20 minutes or more, for the rest to be completed. This is not a once or twice kind of thing-- It. Happens. Every. Time. Because of the above, I am now looking for a better pharmacy nearby."
"I see all these negative reviews and I am a bit floored. I have used this pharmacy for three years and have never had a bad experience. I don't ever come across a bad rep. You can tell sometimes they are flustered and overwhelmed but I feel they do a great job. I have always received great customer service here. The pharmacist is always very helpful. I call and someone always answers and they never give me an attitude. I will always use this pharmacy."
"I recently called this pharmacy and was disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of the man who answered the phone. He was impatient and dismissive when I asked him questions about my medication. I felt like I was inconveniencing him and was unsatisfied with the service I received. I hope that the pharmacy management can address this behavior to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and receive the assistance they need!!"
"I understand sometimes medicines may not be available, but I’d like to know about it, and the customer service is severely lacking. A year and a half ago I had to call in an order a prescription every time I needed it, which was every 30 days, because that particular medication was not always stocked and I was allergic to the brand my doctor wrote on my 12 month prescription. sometimes I had to travel to other HEB‘s around town to get my prescription before being told I had to call and week in advance to have it ready. Well, the last time I filled the 12 month prescription was in April and ever since last year in April, I have not had any issues because the prescription was updated to ask for the generic upfront. then this month turned out to be the one time they didn’t have it in stock. I wasn’t told about it I was left to just guess. I went even a day after it was supposed to be ready and the pharmacy rep told me it would “be ready tomorrow.” I called the next day to ask what time I could pick it up and….it wasn’t in stock; so they’re either lying or they have no idea what’s going on. The guy that told me this information put me on hold without telling me I was going to be placed on hold. When I had called earlier that day I was placed on a 6 1/2 minute hold so I hung up. No apologies given in person or over the phone either and both reps showed no empathy. this is probably because the medicine is birth-control, and they think that I am only taking it for that purpose which is not true; I have a serious condition that I need to take it for in conjunction with another medication. The service has gone from bad to worse and I will be taking all of my prescriptions somewhere other than HEB."
"Every time I use this particular pharmacy I regret it. They are so S-L-O-W and I've had mistakes twice now where they called doctors on things I wasn't even trying to request/refill. I don't get it, the techs are nice enough, but maybe they are overwhelmed with being too busy? Either way, I just drive ten extra minuted to get my prescriptions at a different HEB because they are always so quick and courteous, and, most importantly, CORRECT with my prescriptions."
