"Sadly to say Dec 23rd I went to this HEB to fine the last 5 of 20 turkeys to complete my instructions by the Lord. To feed 25 families this Christmas. I only needed 5. Clearly the reduced price @ .98 cents a lbs I was willing to pay. But HEB limited 1 per customer. I read on the bottom of the sign that says see manager for large or commercial purchases. I did and they said NO! Meat manager is Joel so I went to store manager Hugo and explained that I only needed 5 to help families… a big fat NO! Where is the spirit of giving in this action. So hurt that H‑E‑B a large chain can’t spread 5 turkeys at .98 cents a lbs for 5 families."
"This is my “go to” H‑E‑B because of its location. I always find what I need however parking is ALWAYS a beast and it’s seemingly packed with people. I try at different times to see when is the best time to come. But it is always extremely busy. Most H‑E‑B stores have a really good section for foreign foods. This one does not. It has all of ur staples. It doesn’t have a “focus area” like some where they have the meal preparers making food in the center of the meat section or a huge bakery section. It’s not a small store either so I’m not sure why they haven’t done these features like other H‑E‑B stores. They do have the sushi section though for fresh sushi. It makes a good H‑E‑B if ur just wanting to do a basic shop, and it would be awesome as a quick grab and go store if it wasn’t always busy. (Good for business. Not for social anxiety lol) That being said. Some of the best staff work here. I have many great customer service experiences with employees here especially during the pandemic."
"It’s always felt out of place here. The driveway entrance is horrid. I’ve always cut around through the back. Not a lot of options here. Very standard needs. If you enjoy making new foods this isn’t the spot. The way the store is formatted isn’t my favorite. Unlike the Nacogdoches area. The curbside is perfect but takes a long time. I’ve been to other H-E-B where they’re a bit more timely than this location. The customer service is alright here. There’s not a lot of curbside parking available and people will wait tooth and nail for it. Which is why I loathe coming to this location when needed. It’s a concern too for traffic control. This can cause a lot of frustration for people. Otherwise when I come to the desperate yet rare need for this place it’s manageable and alright. Not the greatest or worst."
"The question I ask before I started with sharing my experience with shopping at HEB. It started in July 1979 just after my wife and I were married. She was watching sales add each week to see who had the lowest price on the grocery items she planing to prepare for us. One year the HEB store we shopped at the most was closed so HEB could remodel and expand it's size. To make up for our losses due having to travel further away to do our shopping. The discounts were so low we got to loving our trips too see just how much we could save. The store I shop at now is at the corner of Bandera & 410. It's a little large for a guy my age to walk through, so now I go early( between 7 & 8 AM and use one of their scooters. One last thing too say. Today for some reason my debit card would not work. As I gave them bags for them to restock the customer behind me came after me and told me to go back to the counter and get my groceries. Her husband had paid for my groceries. Yea for good people who shop at HEB. I pray that couple gets back 10 ten times what they paid for my groceries today."
"Moved near this heb a couple months ago and at first I absolutely hated this heb. So big and crowded. Direction of traffic didn't make sense in the store but after today's kid activities I'm so thankful for the amazing ppl working at this heb and how kind they are! Great community"
