Nova Specialty Pharmacy

"I received what was suppose to be compound Tripeptide. The dosing instructions are for Semaglutide. After checking with my provider I took the correct does and it's like taking nothing. I've been on Tripeptide almost a year, that's not what is in this bottle. Feel like I wasted $379 and can not get Nova on the phone. Will never accept RX from this pharmacy again!"

"I will never accept orders from this pharmacy again. They filled a compound semaglutide prescription. It arrived not cold at all and against my better judgement, I took it as the provider said it shouldn’t be an issue. As I took the medication, it felt like I was getting stung by a bee. Which is something that has never happened with this medication from other providers. I injected it in my thigh and Had leg pain for hours. I have since switch back to my local provider and have had zero issues like this. I have made a complaint with the pharmacy board in Texas due to this experience. As others have noted, the paperwork also has a misspelling of their name. This raised a red flag, and I should’ve gone with my gut ad not taking the medication."

"Does anyone know a trick to getting this pharmacy on the phone? Edit: If anyone is having trouble with NextMed via this pharmacy, do not call and lose your mind on them; they are great people. I just got off the phone with Obi at their office, and everything was figured out in two seconds! They are extremely nice, and willing to help out. It seems that NextMed dumped their old pharmacy and offloaded thousands of clients and scripts into their laps overnight. This is a small business owner, and they are doing right by everyone they can and trying to keep up. I think this is situation where NextMed is not communicating effectively to client and pharmacy. After talking to them on the phone, I have complete faith in them and getting peoples meds out in a decent time!"

"Dr. Ob personally called me to clear up the delay that was ultimately coming from the prescriber’s end. The packaging was great, no misspelling, and included clear directions which I haven’t gotten from other pharmacies. The only thing I would recommend is more than one ice pack because the medication wasn’t cold on arrival."

"I just want to say thank you to Dr. OB For explaining to me, the exact cause of the delay, and The fact that NextMed has not been telling the truth has been telling me for weeks. my prescription is waiting for the tracking number and blamed everything on the pharmacy. Come to find out that wasn’t the case at all. Dr. OB personally called me and explained everything and overnighted my prescription. He went above and beyond and I appreciate it so much anybody having issues I would recommend calling the pharmacy directly because apparently NextMeds Staff isn’t giving accurate information at all."
