"This was the Grand Opening of Kinder Land Bridge and Cyvia & Melvyn Wolff Priarie. This was a fun, exciting, and educational event! A scavenger hunt was setup and various locations in the park totally 13 tents."
"Great for Mountain Biking Park full of Nature, although the trails are very rooty."
"VERY DISAPPOINTING to pay for parking at Memorial Park golf course. The conservancy has implemented paid parking at the golf course parking lot for people who use the golf course and people who use the privately owned Beck's restaurant at the course. I have played golf at nearly every course in the Houston area. There are NO OTHER GOLF COURSES that charge for parking. The conservancy manages all of Memorial Park EXEPT THE GOLF COURSE. Why do they enforce paid parking for golfers? Most likely because people who use the jogging trails, baseball field, playground, etc., currently park in the same lot. This seems unavoidable so they took the easy route and decided to charge parking fees for the golfers. The conservancy should develop a system for validating the parking fees for golfers and Beck customers. This system would also need to prevent receiving a parking ticket for these same customers who would have validated parking."
"The special arbooretum Halloween event was delightful for the kids. Parking was a nightmare. Petting zoo, Halloween walk and the pony ride were enjoyable."
"This Houston's largest running park (and maybe park period). I seldom visit due to the distance away from home. But I do enjoy the yearly Brunch Run that allows me to take a small part of the parks beauty. It is well kept, fresh air, peaceful and lots of space to run."
