I wanted to be sure that you know what a great team you have in El Paso and that they are recognized on their performace reviews for great patient care. Plus, it is super convienent to shop at Target while you wait for the Rx and they text you when your medicine is ready."

"This was my first time visiting this CVS. I came to pick up three of my medication’s and only two were ready, which was fine. The female pharmacist that attended me proceeded to charge me as if I had no insurance, I let her know I did have insurance and she doubled down said I did not. (Little does she know I own an insurance brokerage and am a licensed insurance agent, specializing in health insurance plans.) I emphatically tell her I do have pharmaceutical coverage and she tells me to call the carrier and to provide her 3 sets of numbers she needed. I know it is the pharmacy’s responsibility to call the carrier and verify coverage once I provide my identification but I don’t want to drag this further, so I go ahead and call the insurance and provide her all the information she requested. After I give her the information, she tells me I missed numbers even though she literally wrote down what she needed from me and I provided everything she asked for. She continues inputting information on the computer and says that she fixed it. (Clearly she was making a mistake) A few minutes later, she tells me that I don’t have insurance or the policy was lapsed or terminated. I tell her this is impossible because I literally just went to the Doctor who sent her the prescription using the same insurance! She continues to input information to the computer and then says she fixed it, rings me up and I leave. This has been the most unprofessional event I’ve ever seen at a pharmacy in my life I would likely never return."

"I always have a very positive experience at the CVS pharmacy in Target at El Paso, TX. The pharmacist is very helpfull always takes the time to answer my questions no matter how busy he is. He always has my medication in stock. The pharmacy is not close to my home but having a pharmacist who offers great customer service like Kipp makes the long drive worth it. Thank you CVS."
