"Friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced staff with excellent services and pricing! Paid about $230 for the pictured 2-piece suit and shirt in July 2023. I went into New Man out of curiosity looking for a suit to wear to a friend's wedding that was happening within the next week. The non-sale options at Express felt pricey for the quality of their materials, and JC Penney didn't appear to have measurement services/staff available. While I was looking around, the manager greeted me and asked if I needed help with anything. I only knew that I wanted a suit in a certain color, maybe a shirt to go with it; next to no knowledge about what my sizes were. The manager was already helping another customer out, but he was happy to get to know my needs and point out some of the different variations he had in that color that I could try on. Within a couple minutes after selecting one, he had a jacket roughly my size for me to wear. Even though the manager was already helping another customer, he was able to quickly take the measurements needed to get the whole suit and shirt together, then have me try on different sizing options. Each of my questions was answered with confidence, and honestly I felt pampered like a prince during the entire fitting process. It helped to try on some of their shoes to get a good pant length/measurement. I was particularly happy with the manager providing recommendations on what color shoes, socks, tie, etc. would match with the suit. When I was feeling good with how everything fit and I'd committed to the purchase, the manager trimmed the length of the pants down to my custom size. I believe it was roughly $190 for the selected jacket and pants, and about $25 for the shirt, so about $230 total with tax. Materials for the suit I chose are 65% viscose, 35% polyester. Measurements and trimming the pants down were complementary with the purchase. I went into the store with nothing but an idea for a color, and came out with everything I needed within an hour and a half! It was no surprise to learn that the manager comes from a family of clothiers. The suit ended up getting a lot of compliments at the wedding. I felt comfortable with the size/fit during the ~8 hours that I wore the outfit, and the pants have no rips or tears after a night of (lightly inebriated) dancing. Very happy with this purchase and looking forward to having my New Man option in my wardrobe ready for my next event! Highly recommend coming in and trying something on!"
