"Gadget Garage doesn’t deserve 5 stars. It deserves 10 stars! Before finding this place (which happens to only be a few blocks away) I took my broken iPhone 12 to several stores in Peoria and Chicago that either couldn’t fix it or wanted a ridiculous amount of money to fix it. When I took it to T-Mobile and the Apple Store, they both were just more interested in convincing me to upgrade my phone or vaguely telling me it was either too hard to fix or way too expensive. I was using an old iPhone 7 while looking to get the 12 fixed and ended up cracking the screen badly on the 7. Two broken phones! My client gave me her old iPhone 8 to use which was carrier locked and even after she called AT&T, we couldn’t figure out how to unlock it. Jay from Gadget Garage was able to take apart my iPhone 12 and fix it back to even better condition, replaced the screen on my iPhone 7, and got my iPhone 8 unlocked all for half the price or less than anyone else quoted. Very fast, friendly service and a really honest guy. 15/10 recommend"

The screen on my iPhone X broke a month ago and since then I’m shopping around to find original screen I sent a message on yelp to 10 different phone repair stores jay responded right away gave me a reasonable price for original screen I dropped off the phone on last Friday less than an hour he fixed and now my iPhone is like new. Highly recommend!!!!"
