"TiDiscovering the chicken tamales at this market was an unforgettable culinary delight. Each tamale is a bundle of joy, with chicken that's not just tender but brimming with flavors so vivid, my mouth waters at the mere thought. The chicken filling, generously seasoned and perfectly moist, is encased in a soft, steamed masa that complements it beautifully, creating a harmonious balance of textures and tastes. The secret to these tamales lies in the meticulous preparation and the blend of spices that infuse the chicken with an incredible depth of flavor. It's a recipe that clearly has been perfected over time, showcasing a profound understanding of how to bring out the best in every ingredient. What sets these chicken tamales apart is the palpable passion and tradition wrapped into each one. It's evident that each tamale is made with care, embodying a rich culinary heritage that adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the eating experience. The market atmosphere, bustling yet inviting, enhances the overall experience, making each visit as memorable as the flavors themselves. In conclusion, for those in search of an exceptional tamale experience, these chicken tamales are a must-try. They don't just feed the body but nourish the soul with every bite, leaving you longing for your next visit to this hidden gem of a market."
"I purchased 2 LBS of their Pre-Seasoned Chicken Fajita. It was $6.99 a pound which was outrageous. I got it from there before and don’t remember paying that much. Chicken breast is $1.99 a pound. I just wanted something can cook up quick so bit the bullet. The meat was so salty it was not edible. Normally, I would not waste my time writing a review. Overpaid for food that was not even edible. Lesson learned."
"Stay away from meat and pre packed foods. I showed a worker all the cheese packets were spoiled and she left them there. They are going to get someone sick."
"I'm going to start with the positives. The staff is helpful and very diligent. Well stocked on products most of the time. I'm a fan of the Tacos the fresh bread. All around good experience. The deli staff are more standard fare employees. Not to take anything away from these professionals. We all understand what a long day feels like. On some visits Ive experienced attitude and even denial of service. In detail. I arrive to this store (from my long day) about an 1 hour and 45 minutes before they close. Certain meats are unavailable. For a variety of reasons. Use of the slicer or grinder machines is an issue 90 percent of the time. Because it's been washed. Because it's been cleaned already. The "operator" is off. It's broken but should be fixed first thing in the am. There's been other excuses but those are the top 4 I get. Especially when I see men on the clock standing around shooting the caca. Admittedly miffed, I've taken my money elsewhere. Though it may be a drop in the bucket, that adds up. It's such a shame that the experience is ruined because the deli is such an integral part of this store. Refusal of service or selling product is a bad experience for the paying customer spending they're hard earned cash. It's true, there's a fine line somewhere. But the business needs customers and vice versa. To all of you awesome folks in there from the hardworking busted up hands-men-to the beautiful women Thank you for what you do on a daily basis. Hopefully you can manage to inspire the rest of the staff."
"A lot of the produce is really ripe, it's a must sell. I've gotten some items that if we don't consume right away, might as well discard. Example bought a watermelon two days later tried to pick it up, it was mushy, and bad smelling. Not saying it's a bad store, it's a great store just some produce is very ripe"
