"We had a great experience today. The woman taking our order was polite and friendly, and the cook reccomend his favorites since we're first timers. The food was delicious. We got grilled pork chop sandwiches and they're some of the best we've ever had. Would love to come back and try other menu items"

"CASH ONLY!!!! ATM inside. NO inside or outside dining. Carry out only. The rib tips are honey and tasty. The pulled pork sandwich is greasy and bland. The catfish sandwich was ok. All sandwich meals are regular meals that include fries and sandwich bread for you to make your own sandwich (had never seen this before). The dessert is from Mama Lu's and it's charged separately. I spent $96 and didn't find the value. Customer service let allot to be desired. I was the only customer there at the time and waited 20-35 minutes for my order. Limited parking. Careful pulling out on Sheridan Road, extremely busy. If you want original style ribs go to Hillary's on Lewis."

"I decided to check out their new location after having nothing but great experiences with Honey Bay’s at their old Belvidere location in Waukegan, and I am glad that I did! I called in my order ahead of time and the lady on the phone was incredibly friendly. When I came in to pick up my order I was greeted by name when I walked through the door. My food was delicious! I ordered the rib tip dinner with an additional hot link and everything was tasty. The hot link had a wonderful seasoning and snap to the sausage casing and made a great little sandwich with the white bread and coleslaw that came with my dinner. The rub tips themselves are definitely my favorite in the area. They had a great smoke flavor, perfect texture and had a ton of nice meaty pieces. The mild sauce was phenomenal as well, but if I had to nitpick ever so slightly I would’ve wanted just a tad more sauce. If you’re in the mood for some fantastic food and would like to support some genuine and nice people who are passionate about their work, definitely give Honey Bay’s a visit! And save room for dessert. The banana cream pudding is worth it!"
