Lake Forest - Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

"On February 11, 2023 ( Super Bowl Sunday) I called this location at approximately 4:25pm.I stated that I know this is Super Bowl Sunday and that you are probably busy.I asked the following:If I place an order when would it be ready?I was told 5:15 pm.I then went to the store and found approximately thirty people waiting.I checked in and paid while they checked on my order.After about twenty minutes(more people jammed into the tiny waiting area) I asked if they had any idea when my order would be ready since it was already late.I was told they had no idea as there were so many orders!I asked for and obtained a refund.If you cannot service the orders you take- DON'T TAKE THEM! I have spent a lot of money at this location over the years.I may not ever go back to this location.I would like to hear from corporate about the foregoing.My time was wasted, and I had to go somewhere else for the food.Really, you had no idea when my order would be ready? Addendum: I received a phone call from the store manager after I posted the one star review on Super Bowl Sunday.He apologised for the store dropping the ball (no pun intended) that day and stated that corrections are being made so that type of thing never happens again.Making the phone call was a classy thing to do by Gil and Lou Malnati's.I will be going back to the Lake Forest location!"

"Was really looking forward to this for my birthday dinner. I have been out of the area for 5 years, and came back to this. Our pizza arrived with hair in it. Not only that, but it was super thin. What happened to Chicago style that reached the edge of the crust? What happened to meeting the top of the crust? Sad to say it will be some time before I spend money here again."

"I couldn't believe when I stopped in here how horrible the customer service was. I asked to see the menu. The girl behind the counter was texting on her phone during the dinner hours with an attitude. She told me to scan a qr code. It didn't work so I attempted to order for delivery. I told here 5 time what I'd like to order. I'm not sure if she intentionally was repeating wrong thing's back to me. We resolved what I wanted. She said I couldn't pay in cash. Needed card info I gave here my card # info and exp. Date then she in Insisted she needed the CVV number period at that point I got a uncomfortable feeling period and said. I don't believe you need to have that number. To place an order to place my order. She really screamed, screamed at me and then hung up the phone. I never leave a review, but this one had to be shared. It was the first time attempting to eat at the establishment period I'm very polite and don't mind tipping well for good service period unfortunately, they will never see any of my business due to our rude and unprofessional their staff was. 1 person can mess it up for the whole bunch."

"My husband has heard nothing but good things about this place. Unfortunately, we both agreed that the deep dish was not what it was worked up to be. So much grease sitting on top, the crust taste like cardboard, sauce had no flavor. The sausage carried the pizza and wasn’t even that great either. Would not recommend! We loved the Buffalo wings tho."
