"Decided to come here for a later lunch last minute during the week while running errands. BEST DECISIONS!! I had the best experience the staff was super nice and recommended a delicious meal when I couldn't make up my mind. Everything there was very reasonably priced items on the menu. The Salsa and Chips when you DINE-IN SO good!! I recieved their potato and cheese Flautas! HIGHLY RECOMMEND I will be back."
"this place was a hidden gem - amazing flavors and the chicken sandwich was absolutely phenomenal. i won’t be forgetting that flavor anytime soon."
"Update 9/23/2023 While this place has a very good menu and great variety. It’s hit and miss on some items. I loved their quesadillas and was excited to go back to try 2 other items for carryout. Sadly I was very disappointed. I write very credible reviews to help people make choices. Unfortunately, I have to update and take stars away. While they are using all fresh produce and bread items, the meat on both of the sandwiches was not that great (breaded chicken cermita, Milanese Beef torta). When ordering, I asked if they used real chicken breast on the cemita which the girl advised they did. Sorely the chicken was more of a super very thin processed pressed meat piece. I didn’t even taste chicken. The rest of everything on the sandwiches was very good. Basically it tasted better without the meat! After 1 bite, I threw the entire sandwich away. They need to significantly improve the chicken used in the sandwiches. Chicken should look and taste like a breast not look like a super thin light yellow pressed object. ———————— Cielo Mexican Grill is an excellent Schaumburg Hidden gem for sure! This is the best chicken quesadilla in Schaumburg! Firstly, warm chips are brought to the table by a friendly server.Their salsa has a little kick to it but not overly hot. I ordered the chicken quesadillas for starters. First off it was huge and took up almost the whole entire plate. They really give you a good amount of chicken and cheese! The delicious homemade oaxaca cheese was oozing out. Chicken (all breast meat) is very lightly seasoned. It’s served with fresh made guacamole, and a nice dollop of sour cream with a tomato onion salad too. They give you such generous portions here of everything on the plates. I can only imagine how tasty all the other menu items are! I can’t wait to come back with friends and try their other items. Tacos, fajitas, burritos, Chile relleno, cemita poblano’s, flauta’s and the 1/2 pound Mexican burgers are sure to be really delicious! They have a really nice desert menu but you’ll need to save room for it if you can. Prices are very inexpensive and the value you get is better than anywhere else I’ve been. They do catering and you can even have small parties there. The restaurant was very clean, neatly organized and service was both fast and friendly."
"We had the privilege of being able to try special dishes from their home town in Mexico! We were treated like royalty and the food was delicious! I recommend this restaurant hands down! Thank you for your love and hospitality!"
"Finally found a delicious Mexican restaurant near me. I Ordered the pastor quesadillas and steak tacos. Had some chips and salsa, rice and beans on the side. The dishes were well served and most importantly the authentic flavor of a mexican dish. The service was great. I had Jamaica (hibiscus tea) and it was so refreshing. Can't wait to go back."
