"Our meals were superb! Husband had full slab of ribs with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. He said the ribs were some of the best he ever had-- tender and juicey. I had the fried shrimp dinner-- the best shrimp either of us had ever had. They were HUGH! Giant shrimp lightly battered and fried to perfection. The other six in our party were quite happy with their meals also. Prices are reasonable for what you get. We definitely give Roosters a thumbs up!"

"Asked if the skillet was made with butter was totally did not think so I said it cannot be cooked with butter I cannot have butter. Got it back tasted the egg and immediately tasted butter asked the server to go verify. She came back never gave me an answer so I asked she had to go back to the kitchen and asked they said oh only a little bit, if someone says no butter, it means no butter. My mother ordered her steak, medium rare and it was medium at best. Got another one sent to the table still was not medium rare. coffee was very watered down, you could see through it, coffee should not be see-through. Server was nice, but she seemed overwhelmed, and the restaurant was not full, because we had to ask for things a few times. There were two children constantly running through the restaurant and the staff never said anything to them. I know you can’t control other children but it is safety, and they should tell the children they cannot run."

"Nice variety, great servers and fair price. Really like the ayce fish fry. Had it last night and it was better than ever. Perfect pieces of haddock. Maybe they are getting it from a different supplier, I don't know. But, that is the way it is supposed to be. Please keep it up! Thank you."

"I dined here with a friend on a Sat morning about 9:30AM. They were not busy, got seated immediately. I had a American express omelette that was very good, and coffee was good as well. All around enjoyable meal with good service"

"Food is about as bad as is looks. I first discovered this place 4 years ago when I was pregnant and I kept craving their blt sandwich (which is not bad actually). The place was always packed and you usually had to wait quite a bit even with reservations. Totally not the case now. On a Friday evening at dinner time they only had 2 tables occupied and there is a reason why: the food that is lacking in quality. I ordered their “best” chicken dinner with fries and let me tell you…part of it went straight into the trash. The fries were soggy, uncooked (I am saying uncooked because I’m a lady, they were actually half raw) and almost burnt at the same time and the chicken was dry (the only good piece was the drumstick). As you can see from my photo, it didn’t look very appetizing (and it wasn’t). I gave the place a 2 star review out of respect for what it once was, today’s experience would get zero stars. Parking is ample which is nice."
