"I decided to visit today 03/01/2024 because I was craving some catfish and was very pleased, professional and kind staff and the flavor and texture of the fish was so much better than the Lindell location. My new fish Friday station. Thank you for the great service."
"Don’t worry if you’re there an extra minute or two past close. They’re REALLY understanding and truly don’t mind. They know everyone is under incredible amounts of stress and hectic work schedules these days, as well. They’ll never harass or bully you for simply needing food in your stomach after a long and brutal day. They’ll take this into consideration and won’t fret, as if they were children incapable of empathy and understanding towards anyone outside themselves. Truly decent and considerate people work here. They definitely do not have the maturity level of my left pinky finger, nor are they in need of anger management therapy. If they (hypothetically) did, might I suggest working on that. A hobby, perhaps. Humans aren’t punching bags, I’d stop confusing the two going forward."
"I also visited the store on Gravois and Potomac the other night around 9 pm. There were about 6 other people entering the store at the same time as me. I overheard an older African woman cashier at aisle #11 saying loudly, 'For goodness sake, people, go home already!' It was disappointing that the white manager lady didn't address the situation. It made me feel disrespected. Some people have to work all day and can only shop at night. The service provided by the cashiers was quite poor. Additionally, one of the doors was completely closed, so I had to walk all the way around the store to get something. I'm surprised this store location is still open. It would be great if we could receive some respect. If you dislike your job and don't want to work, perhaps you should consider finding something else. This job pays almost $18 per hour with union benefits where you don't have to sit around and push buttons on a machine. Furthermore, if you shut down self-checkout, it's not fair to be upset when there are long lines because you only have two cashiers and no baggers. What is the issue here?"
"For me to give less than 5 stars there must be a reason. 1. I'm not finished utilizing their services, 2. They're lacking. I don't believe Schnucks is the friendliest stores in town. No where near it. Checkers and baggers mostly have bad attitudes and are rather snappy. The store itself is OK but the people either elevate it or bring it down. If ya ask me, it's going down. Thanks"
"Not very long ago they closed one of the entrances, that is annoying enough. So now, they've made ALL of the self checkout for credit/debit cards only. There's at least 8 self checkouts. So I go to the other checkout (both lines are ridiculously long).. They only have THREE cashiers working. Then one of them shuts down their register. So now we are down to only 2 cashiers. I bought about 7 items, and I was stuck in this hell for over an HOUR! Will NEVER go back."
