"The store has a lot of ppl in it for being a Saturday. The man is by himself and starts yelling at everyone to get out, go get out i have to use the bathroom! I said GET OUT!! MOVE!! Shoppers have shoes in their hand and are trying shoes on and ppl are walking up to the counter. He's yelling for ppl to put their stuff down and leave!! That is crazy and rude and unprofessional!! I will never go back there! Especially when there is one size of certain shoes. Some ppl. Are on a time limit in their day. Rude."
"I really wished that I would have read the reviews before stepping foot in this store! My family and I just left (2/29/24 at 12:20pm) after a rude customer experience to both our family as well as the one after us. I had to look for the person who was working to ring me up. She was sitting on one of the seats talking on the phone when I was ready to check out. She got to the register and smelled like alcohol! She went to the back to grab the matching shoe that we needed and that seemed to take forever. I inquired about the price of a backpack. I had one in my hand that looks like a tag had been ripped off. However, the exact same bag was ziptied on the wall with a 50% Off tag. She told me it had to be that particular bag so she went and grabbed it. When she returned to the register, she asked for my ohone number then yelled at me and said "I was going too fast, dont i know she have to type it." Then she began to ring up my items, the shoes rang up for a different price that what was displayed on the wall. She rudely told me and my husband that she "ain't got nothing to do with them prices. She don't make them. The boss makes them and he off!" The Nike backpack that was $46 with a 50% Off tag rang up for $36. We questioned this price and again she was rude saying "it rang up for $36 and I don't do nothing with that. You can call the boss." I informed her that she was rude, and she needed to work on her customer service. Whether you make the prices or not, you should honor the tags and signs that were put up by your company. A few button presses will create a price override. Simple math will let you know that $36 is NOT half of $46. And if you don't know how to operate the register, asked to be trained, or call someone for help. This store and worker was ridiculous!"
"I experienced the absolute worst customer service at the Shoe Depot in Northwoods Mall. Initially I entered the store and spoke to the gentleman working on 2.6.24 at approximately 6:10pm I said hello to him three times with no response. I then found my purchases(had four boxes of shoes) . When I approached the counter I did not see the closed sign on the register. This man said "what does that say?" I was confused then saw the sign after (remember I had 4 boxes) he asked the same thing sarcastically several more times. I walked to the other register, and informed him he was being rude and needed to work on customer service. He replied "I won't at my age I don't care about customer service." I advised he should since I was about to spend several hundred dollars, I then politely turned and left. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!"
"As a former employee the district manager threatened to close the store and fire everyone because they get no sales. The store manager makes inappropriate comments on the only female employees that he has. He can’t hire men because he will fire them. And when I was standing up for myself against a black guy, my former employee called me a racist, called her husband that doesn’t work there to come behind the register & sit at the register for hours & he looked like a stick, and while I was having a panic attack and can’t breathe, she was laughing and making jokes."
"Not a great way to run a business closing at 5:30, when it's supposed to be 6. Well you just lost a long time customer. I really don't know what a half an hour does for you, but good luck keeping your business going when you turn away customers!!!"
