"PLEASE READ! : I shopped at Walmart all my life. To shop there is really good. There’s days where it can be a mess, but it never occurred as a problem to me. Now working here is a DIFFERENT STORY. I use to be a cart pusher here. It started out great, until you realize you’re not working together as a family. You’re pretty much all you got. As a worker here~customers get messy and place things in the wrong spot. If you work and short staffed : ABIDE BY YOUR SCHEDULE. WALMART DOESN'T ABIDE SCHEDULES! WHEN YOU CLOCK OUT OF WORK, YOU CANT WORK! WALMART STAFF MADE ME WORK OFF THE CLOCK WHICH IS ILLEGAL! Staff here mainly coaches, team leads and ap will favor some of their workers making it harder for those who are struggling and need help. If a worker is struggling and/or not getting the help they need to make their jobs easier, the effort to help is low. In order to get the help and show you’re serious, you’d have to quit or retaliate. A lot of people had quit when I worked there, a little have retaliated (Which lead them to get arrested or banned) Walmart schedules are the best and breaks are best. The staff and working environment there itself is terrible. In conclusion : Just shop there, it’ll save the stress and mistreatment. If you’re gonna work here, I advise you to take precaution with the position you choose to apply for and stay with those who are gonna work with you as a team. Not everyone is bad working there, some people will feel what you go through as a worker here or use to be. Scale from 1-10 shopping at Walmart is 9/10. Working at Walmart is a 6/10."

"Does not even deserve 1 star. The automotive department is a joke. I tried to get tires was told at first 2hour wait. Thirty minutes later still 2 hour wait. 15 minutes later told would be at least 3 hours if no one called in. Only one person working said all that was scheduled until noon or one. Two more should com in then. Whoever is managing automotive needs to find new job. I tried calling them today six different times, rang 20 times each no answer. I will not go back to this store ever. I guess I have to give 1 star or will not post. Only way they would get it."

"Sitting in the parking lot mad as hell, because despite arriving at the store at 10:50pm, the doors were locked and they wouldn't let me in, claiming, "we're closed". I said, "it's 10 till 11 and you're open until 11". The employee said "they closed at 10:50". and had a grin on his face the entire time, then turned his back on me and walked away. If your posted hours state you're open until 11, then don't lock your doors until 11. It's really a simple concept. And if you want to close at 10:50, then change your posted hours to reflect that! Think how frustrated you'd be if you drove 15 minutes to get somewhere before they closed, only to find out they closed early! VERY FRUSTRATED! When you hire young, inexperienced people to run your business, this is what happens. I will file a complaint with the BBB and the Illinois Attorney General's office."

"Clean and nicely organized. I was impressed that there was no waiting for check out. We also were very excited that they had the new hard to find Godzilla toys for the new movies coming out."

"Waiting over thirty minutes in the parking lot for a small grocery order, which was made several hours ago, either cold or wasting gas, isn’t a “convenience”… quite the opposite. I could have completed it myself faster, ended up leaving and cancelling. It’s not like they were packed either, not that waiting over a half hour in the lot is ever appropriate. Never again. Hy-Vee is the way to go!"
