"Great food! However, the place is undermanned, hence poor service. We've met the owners, good people, just have no luck with employees. We've been there 4 times because the food is great. We did end up leaving the fourth time in which we had friends with us. We were told they were out of brisket and pork."

"This place is amazing! Great food. Smoked chicken is my favorite. All of the food is freshly prepared. The strawberry margaritas are too good!! If you haven't been here you are missing out. The atmosphere and artwork are impressive. Great quality all around. The owners take pride in their business. Veteran owned!"

"Went here for dinner a few nights back and was hugely disappointed. If you are a huge fan of smoked or BBQ foods, you'll be happy to hear that those are pretty good, however, the other half of the menu, that being the mexican-inspired dishes, fail to impress. The salsas are bland and flavorless, the guacamole has no flavor and needed plenty of salt to even salvage. Overall the food was ridiculously overpriced as well for the portions received and took quite a while to come out of the kitchen. Most drinks we ordered tasted watered down, not mixed well, or had an odd Smokey taste, this is also after taking quite a while to receive these drinks as well. Mind you the restaurant was not that busy at the time of visiting. I can't recommend this place to anyone unfortunately"

"First time at this trendy Tex-Mex Restaurant. Located on Route 176 in Crystal Lake, this place features some delicious Mexican and Barbecue! Cool vibes and wall art! Tried some well prepared beef brisket nachos and a sampler of chicken, brisket and pulled pork with sides. Loved the interactive tablet menu with nice photos! Great service! Plenty of leftovers for later!"

"Cool place we went on a Wednesday. It wasn't busy. There was 1 Hostess\ server\bartender. She was very good and kept in touch with us and the other tables. Food we had chicken, the chicken was very done. If you like your chicken that way, it was great. Our split decision on this is she loved it, I liked it(over cooked for me). I also had a brisket taco. They didn't skimp on the meat. The meat was moist and tasted fresh. Your choice top it with any of the 3 house made sauces. Bbq, mild green or spicy red. Yes I would go here again."
