"Revised Feb 20 2024-went for lunch and had their "lunch special fish and chips" Delicious! Fish was very tasty, fries were crisp and fluffy,, Cole slaw was creamy and good! Wonderful lunch for under $8 plus drink and tip.. will definitely come again Four! 2022-Four of us met for lunch and restaurant was busy but we were seated right away, no waiting! Nice menu choices. Food very good. I had chicken Philly. Sandwich was large enough to bring half home for later. We will definitely go there again!"
"We didn't even receive water! It was only 2 ish on a Friday afternoon. We were seated across from the bar. I finally asked the hostess what the norm is for service? She then asked if anyone had checked on us? I told her no. She then told us that the bartender was our server. The bartender never acknowledged us during the time we waited. Many restaurants have a staffing problem. I'll say that's the reason we were ignored. The hostess did offer to seat us on the other side. Our question is, shouldn't she have known that service was slow beforehand? We were not asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. We made the decision to leave. However, we did find prompt service and a delicious meal not far from Miller's Ale. Yep, Texas Roadhouse ! Pictures below, all within 10 minutes! And a full slab of ribs!"
"First time tried this place, great vibes, good menu and quick service. Only thing inconvenient was we were seated near the window booth and it was a bit chilly so we had to wear our jackets while dining, the next table also felt the same so I guess anyone sitting next to the window booth will find it inconvenient especially when it’s chilly. Service was okay, place was super crowded and parking lot was packed, most people were parking in the lot next to Meijer. We ordered the masala veggie burger it was good, perfectly cooked patty and fulfilling. Since it said masala I was expecting it to be a bit spicy but it was not. Overall we loved our experience minus few things, I would stop by again!"
"We drove 45 minutes out of our way in order to watch the Iowa Hawkeye football game because Miller’s has Peacock and we refuse to subscribe. Long story short, the beer was cold, the service was great and the food was really good. We were pleasantly surprised and came back to watch the Northwestern game. The girl on the phone was polite when we called to confirm they’d show the game and they managed the crowd very well. Highly recommend, good times! Cheers!"
"Great atmosphere. Drink prices in the bar was reasonable. The drinks we kind of weak. Had hot wings with 2 different sauces. We paid $14.00 for 12 wings pieces (which is really 6 whole wings) that was expensive. I would go back but would order a meal to get the best bang for the buck. That was a 32oz pitcher of Blue Long Island for $14.99 which was a good deal because 1 glass was $7.99. Again... the cocktail was weak and I am not a big drinker."
