"Our first time here. Friendly staff. The guy who checked us out greeted everyone on the way in. Decent prices. No fitting rooms but aside from this there are mirrors along a wall they let you try stuff on over your clothes. No exchanges or refunds. All sales final."
"I love coming here, but today this happened to me and my daughter... Today, after entering your store, I was immediately approached by an associate, Kendra. Who stated that I couldn't bring a book bag into the store. The problem with this was that I didn't have a book bag and neither did my daughter. I politely explained, "Ma'am, I don't have on a book bag." She continued to state in a very hostile manner, "I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to her (my daughter)and you're with her. She then states, "I am taking to you both." I restate again very vehemently this time, "Ma'am, I don't have on a book bag!" She continues to harass me, which sets off my daughter, who is disabled mentally, causing my daughter to then be triggered. This woman continues to antagoize us both. She walks away as I ask the staff for a manager. I am told by the young man at the jewelry counter that she is the manager. I then ask who is over her. She returns with a heavy set latina female who then stands as the one who created a hostile environment tells us we must leave the store. She expresses that she was threatened by us, but I didn't threaten her. My daughter asked this woman to stop talking to me, her mother, disrespectfully. She continued to do so and my daughters illness was triggered. She stood in close proximity to both of us as she continued to harass us both. I asked my daughter to leave because she was becoming very upset. In addition, every hispanic and white was greeted with honor and respect, while we were met with discriminatory actions and harassment. I ultimately ended up contacting the police because of this woman's behaviors. UPDATE: I find it behooving and sick that you and your employees have attempted to create a false narrative. It is unfortunate that blacks are still facing racial profiling and such discriminatory practices. The camera will show that your employee addressed me and approached my personal space, eventhough I had on a crossbody purse. My daughter had on a satchel purse. It was not a bookbag. You actually sell them as purses in your own store, yet Katrina addressed me with hostility regarding an item I did not even have. It will show that she continued to antagonize me. My daughter was in the store for a long while looking at purses before I ever entered and your employee never approached her during that time because it wasn't about the purse she carried. The camera will also show women entering the store with similar sized purses, but no attack from employees. According to my daughter she just stared, but said nothing. In addition, I made no threats to anyone. And my daughter felt threatened by your employee to the point that she walked out your store to avoid further issues. I remained as I waited for the police, which I called on your employee and during this time I said and did nothing to anyone as I sat. In addition, while speaking with a police officer regarding your racist behavior I was witness to your employees stopping another black woman with her service animal at the door and telling her she couldn't enter, even after she shared her paperwork. It is clear that GANG HANGINGS of blacks in America just comes in a different form and you and your employees believe that attempting to create an inaccurate narrative is appropriate, but I am happy to tell you, "You were wrong. " An apology would have sufficed, but I can't imagine a racist LYNCH MOB doing that! Furthermore, you've replied as if you were witness, but you were not. You weren't even in the premises, which the camera will show. According to the employees, Katrina, the young lady that created this fiasco, was the manager. You will see me walking up to the employees asking for the manager or a higher up and most of them ignoring me. It wasn't until I got to the counter that the older lady told me your name or any info so that I could file a complaint. Every employee bowed their heads and walked away when I attempted to seek assistance to get a resolution. FYI: IF YOU'VE EXPERIENCED SIMILAR, SPEAK UP."
"The worst experience I had. I have always come to this place but today a very unpleasant visit, I had picked some toddler items and the one I was looking for did not had a price tag on it. I did not notice because I did not care about the price all I saw it's this had the plastic that's attached to every item. After a long line and I get to the register I was ready to pay the person who helped me end up being the "manager" who stated can't sell the item to me bit did not had a price tag on it, and tell me where in the retail business they have a "manager" can't resolve this type of issues. She told me to go look for another item, I took three that probably were the pice what I need it and still she didn't want to sell it because it wasn't exactly the same brand or size . It's just so stupid and wasted of time that simple issues like this that aren't the customers responsability can be resolved for the person that's in charge if running a store of this type. I left the store so freaking upset upset I didn't take anything and of course the "unhelpful manager" just did not care if doing her job properly. Train and hire people that can do the job."
"The store is pretty large. When you first walk I there is a section to the left with what seems to be items of higher value. However it was blocked off and. I one was available to retrieve things for you to look at. There is a prayer room right off to the left as well. They had all shoes 40% off and Women’s clothes 50% off. I didn’t have a lot of time to really look so I didn’t find anything that trip. Would I go back? Maybe. There are lots of other thrift stores near that I think have a better selection, but I’m down for the hunt if I have time."
"They don't always have guys denin pants but they have a high selection of dress clothes. Everyone is always nice & the clientele is diverse. They have great selection of furniture sometimes so you really have to check it weekly to see what's new. I love when I get a Text message for discount days especially Saturdays."
